In the spirit of TEDx events, we look forward to feature ideas worth spreading from all over our local community. However, in TEDxAlDafnaED conference the scope of the ideas is focused in education and its reflection on the community. Our speakers will discuss several education’s related issues, present creative solutions, deliver non-traditional lessons, and share thoughts about the future of edu
cation. Meanwhile, our audience is composed of university students, educators, and individuals who show interest in developing and enhancing the educational experience.
2. Social Area
In parallel to the main conference and outside our theatre, we are organizing a Social Area where we gather and showcase inspiring experiences from our partners, local educational initiatives, and several remarkable projects. We aim, through TEDxAlDafnaED, to create a platform to spread educational awareness and to encourage positive engagement in improving the educational process in Qatar’s society. About TEDx:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxAlDafnaED , where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAlDafnaED event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
