We can’t lie, this post gives us PTSD.

Not a single rescue out there is unfamiliar with Parvo. It’s an awful diagnosis with a lot of uncertainty especially because it takes a great toll on the cats (dogs and other animals too!) it also requires so much effort to ensure it never spreads.

Please note we’re not veterinarians, but we’ve been through so many Parvo cases, we know what works and what doesn’t 🥲

Bunny has been adopted 🥳

We never managed to post about this guy but poor Bunny was hit by car and left to die in industrial area. He needed surgery and a little bit of TLC.

That’s where Lina steps in! She and her husband offered to foster him and see how it goes with their little Puna — the original baby of the family.

He got along great with everyone, rested for a few weeks and when it was time to post him, we asked if they wanted first dibs and got the best answer — yes!!

Meet Yaffa 🇵🇸

This sweet girl was thrown into a park, no longer wanted or loved. She has trauma to her front paw, some sort of burn to her pads and shock to her joint.

She is extremely sweet and well behaved. Yaffa is not a fan of other cats but she loves humans 🥰

Once healed, she’ll be looking for an actual forever home, one that won’t dump her with her collar choking her.

FOSTERS NEEDED ‼️

Unfortunately as much as we’ve kept up to date with TNR, this area is still a dumping ground.

We urgently need fosters for these cats where they can receive check ups and get ready to be adopted. All supplies provided.

Please let us know if you have the space (a bathroom or storage space works just fine, even a shower space).

Foster periods vary based on the kitty, some need up to 3 months, others just a few weeks.

Baby Rumi has been adopted 🥹🤍

Rumi was rescued from one of our TNR areas after showing up with a broken leg. She battled Parvo and a foreign body ingestion 🥲

Tainan immediately fell in love with her, and it was the perfect match. They’ve been inseparable 🥰🤍

One Butter roll has been adopted!

Mr Butter decided to rescue himself by jumping into one of our cars. He has always been a deceiving boy 😜

When Beth and Ross applied, they were first time cat owners and had fallen in love with Butter! And boy did he give them a great intro into cat ownership 🙈

Despite all the hardships, they couldn’t live without him and that’s our favorite thing to hear 🥳

We need your help, as much as we love posting transformations — this one can’t wait. Her story is long and awful, but we are here to rewrite the ending 😞🤍

This sweet girl (name TBD) was surrendered to us, her owners tried to take care of her but their resources were limited.

She has been admitted to Canadian Vet as she desperately needs 24/7 care. For now, we need to get her stabilized, strong and ready for an amputation.

The first step is to figure out what is causing these lesions as they are weakening her immune system, and causing her so much pain. We have attached the invoice and would definitely appreciate any contributions to her bill — please contact us for the clinic’s fawran information.

To the vets that treated her before, it is absolutely awful the way you handled this case. You left sutures in her, treated her with the wrong medication and have caused her so much pain. May you never harm another animal again.

Tigris, now Chia has been adopted 🥰

Tigris came to us when she was pregnant, had the flu and ringworm had taken up so much of her skin we could barely see her coat.

When Lianne applied to adopt, she only had eyes for Tigris — and who could blame her 🥰 This little one spent a whole year with them, navigating tummy troubles and getting used to her cat sister Rumi 🤍

Everything clicked into place and now Chia enjoys adventures at Torba (her favorite place, can you tell?!) and cuddling with her mama!
