تحت الرعاية الكريمة لسعادة الشيخ جوعان بن حمد آل ثاني ، تأسست زهاب في اوائل عام ٢٠١٧ من قبل قطر الخيرية وهي مبادرة تقدم معونات مجتمعية وأسرية ، تهدف الى تشجيع ودعم العطاء والقيادة الفعالة المرتبطة بالقضايا الهامة في المجتمع من دعم للفئات المحتاجة لتتمكن من مساعدة نفسها ولتنعم بحياة كريمة وأمنة ومستقرة
