We are looking for loving families who can show a lot of love and patience to our animals, some of whom have experienced terrible things and deserve a nice and safe home When I came to Portugal I was quickly confronted with the suffering of animals. There is still a lot to do here in terms of animal welfare. I quickly got in touch with other animal welfare activists and since then I have regularly volunteered to help in the shelters, on the streets and wherever an animal is in need. My work is supported by donations, all of which go towards the care of the animals. Fortunately, in a very short time, people have also been found who actively support me in my work in various areas. Our common goal is to save lives and give the dogs and cats a happy future. We are looking for loving families who can show a lot of love and patience to our animals, some of whom have experienced terrible things and deserve a nice and safe home. Thanks to our cooperation with Portuguese vets, they are chipped, vaccinated, wormed and neutered if they are old enough. An EU passport is also issued. A counselling interview is held with the interested parties and a preliminary check is carried out by volunteer animal welfare workers. The project lives exclusively from donations in cash or in kind. We would be delighted to receive support in any form.
