BETA Portugal is the PT branch of BETA Europe, Bringing Europeans Together Association, AISBL, a federal youth NGO which aims to promote European integration, EU affairs, democratic processes by organising EU Politics simulations (Model European Union). s project home, BETA Portugal has standing team of about 40 motivated young volunteers, dedicated to promote several activities across the country in order to bring the EU close to its citizens. Thus, we organise real-life professional simulations of EU Politics, where young participants from all walks of life can experience what is like to be in someone else's shoes, and learn about the EU legislative and decision-making process from within.
