Dr. Avi Loeb has announced the establishment of a new UAP Science Advisory Council to the U.S. Government. The council consists of experts in the fields of AI, data analysis, data management, instrumentation, astrophysics, numerical analysis, and human psychology, who will be focused on understanding the nature of UAPs.

On 25 June 2026, in Washington, D.C., the Disclosure Foundation presented the 'Disclosure Forum 2026: Humanity at the Edge of Discovery'.

The event brought together members of Congress, scientists, journalists, and researchers for a series of discussions on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and the case for transparency, rigorous analysis, and sustained institutional attention.

On Wednesday, 1 July 2026, Roberto Pinotti (President of ICER) and Vladimiro Bibolotti (Italian Representative of ICER) will be presenting at a press conference to be held at the iCavour Conference Centre, Rome, Italy.

The press conference, hosted by the National Ufological Centre (CUN), will discuss the latest groundbreaking developments in the world of UFOs/UAP, and the increasingly prominent role of politics and media.

On 15-17 May 2026, the 10th International UFO Congress was hosted in the city of Victoria, Argentina.
The 3-day event, organised by CEFORA (Commission for the Study of the UFO Phenomenon of the Argentine Republic), the Victoria UFO Museum, and under the direction of ICER Board Member Andrea Pérez Simondini, brought together researchers, academics, aviation professionals, journalists, public officials, and international representatives from across Latin America and Europe.
The theme for the event was "Evidence and Experience: South America Speaks.”

The Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena Study and Information Group (GEIPAN) will be hosting a UAP conference at France's National Assembly in Paris, France on 29 June 2026.
This is the first symposium of its kind in the French Parliament and will feature authoritative experts and specialists.

One of the oldest countries to have a public official UAP investigation group, GEIPAN, will be hosting the conference, which will be exploring the topic of UAP "beyond the realm of fantasy".

On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, a press conference took place on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. – including former intelligence officer and whistleblower, David Grusch, bipartisan politicians from the U.S. House of Representatives, and well-known investigative journalists and filmmakers – to issue an urgent plea for the full declassification of records regarding UAPs and non-human intelligence.

They advocated strongly for the passage of the UAP Disclosure Act, to formalise public transparency and provide protections for military and intelligence whistleblowers.
