We want to make Olhão a better place and make people in need happier. Our objetives are to make a difference and bring people together to help achieve that.

Somos Esperança provides food for the hungry, clothes for the needy, furniture, medications, diapers, orthopaedic equipment and washing facilities for those people without homes. Somos Esperança is a registered Charity in Olhão, a working fishing town on Portugal's Eastern Algarve. It continues the work done for many years by Dona Patricia, who works with amazing dynamism and energy to support the

needy people of Olhão. The charity is supported by donations sought by Dona Patricia and by the local restaurant, Chá Chá Chá. The charity offers food for the hungry, clothes for the needy, furniture, medications, diapers and when needed is also offered ortipedic equipment. Now that the charity has is own home it wil also be offered freshly cooks and nutritious meals, and washing facilities for those people without homes.
