A Betty só conhecia a sobrevivência 🥺
Tem cerca de 7/8 aninhos e durante esses anos a vida não foi gentil com ela. Pelos maus-tratos que sofreu, perdeu a visão de um dos olhos e vê muito pouco do outro. Ainda assim, quando se aproxima de alguém, é como se visse tudo com o coração e isso torna-a ainda mais especial.
Neste momento, a Betty encontra-se em FAT, mas não poderá ficar lá por muito mais tempo. Se não surgir um anjo, terá de regressar ao abrigo… e para uma cadelinha quase cega, isso é ainda mais assustador.
A Betty é incrivelmente meiga, doce e carinhosa. Daquelas que só querem estar perto, sentir um toque, um carinho, uma presença amiga. Apesar das suas limitações, é também uma cadela independente, aprende rotinas, adapta-se e só precisa de alguém paciente e amoroso.
Sim, precisa de alguns cuidados:

✨ Condroprotetor para ajudar nas articulações
✨ E acima de tudo… amor, compreensão e segurança
Nada disto é comparável à gratidão e ao carinho que ela tem para dar.

Betty has only ever known survival 🥺
Betty is around 7–8 years old, and life has not been kind to her during those years. Because of the abuse she suffered, she lost the sight in one eye and has very limited vision in the other. Even so, whenever she approaches someone, it’s as if she sees everything with her heart — and that makes her even more special.
At the moment, Betty is in foster care, but she won’t be able to stay there for much longer. If an angel doesn’t come along soon, she will have to return to the shelter… and for an almost blind little dog, that is even more frightening.
Betty is incredibly gentle, sweet, and affectionate. She’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be close to you, to feel a touch, a cuddle, a friendly presence. Despite her limitations, she is also independent. She learns routines, adapts well, and only needs someone patient and loving.
Yes, she does require a few special comforts:
✨ Vaseline for her little eyes
✨ Joint supplements to help support her mobility
✨ And above all… love, understanding, and security
None of this compares to the gratitude and affection she has to give in return.
Betty doesn’t need perfection.
She simply needs someone who will accept her exactly as she is.
Someone who can give her the dignity, comfort, and peace she has never had.
