🤖 AI: friend, rival, or… it’s complicated?
That was the big question at our third Thursday of September, as our Portuguese-speaking session explored the relationship between AI and us. And with “Simbiose” as our Word of the Day, there was plenty to think about!
🎭 Patrícia Penela took us into “A Vida de uma Atriz” with her Ice Breaker speech, sharing the beginning of her Toastmasters journey.
🎤 Paula Machado, with “Da Cabeça aos Pés,” explored the power of vocal variety and body language, reminding us that communication is about much more than words.
🌱 Henrique Marques presented “Pequenas Atitudes, Grandes Mudanças,” the first of his two speeches focused on evaluation and feedback, highlighting how small actions can lead to meaningful growth.
Three prepared speeches, three opportunities to learn, and a thought-provoking theme that feels more relevant every day.
AI may be changing how we communicate, but the human connection behind every speech still matters. 💙
