Algarve Dog Events Creating dog walks for people to meet and walk our dogs here in the Algarve, it's free, its fun, it's for everyone.

Please be aware of the following, we all walk our dogs at our own risk, and being responsible for our own dogs, Have fun

We will be walking Saturday at the Mata , usual time of 9.30.
Normal walk or shorter walk ? Either one is good 🐾🐾🐾🐾 then afterwards at Bensafrim cafe .

We will be walking the Mata Saturday 25th leaving the carpark at 9.30 am . See you there 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

There are no fire restrictions in place for our area so Saturday 11th we will be back at the Mata for a 9.30 day walk .
See you there then afterwards at Bensafrim cafe .

I haven’t seen any updates yet and the state of alert ends midnight today 9/07/26.
If there’s no information tomorrow then we will be back at the forest on Saturday at 9.30am from the car park .
Remember water , hats and p**p bags ☀️😀🐕‍🦺 hope to see you there .

Some group members are meeting at 8am tomorrow 4th July at Bar Q**m car park to walk Meia Praia .
If anyone wants to join that walk it will leave the car park at 8am.
Bring water , p**p bags and your hats .

Due to the extreme temperatures and the government advice there will be no Algarve Dog events dog walk on Saturday 4th July in the Mata.

Just an update on this post from the government advise we will NOT be walking on Saturday 4th at the Mata .

Saturday 4th walk CANCELLED
Temperatures are rising so if you feel it’s too hot for yourselves or your dogs please give the walk a miss . Start time 9.30am.
We will do the shorter route again this week under the tree shade only 4km mostly flat .
Afterwards at Bensafrim cafe for cake and coffees .
As always please bring plenty of water and don’t forget your hats 🇵🇹☀️🕶️

It is with great sadness we share the loss of Prince who has crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Prince joined us on so many wonderful walks through out the years . Along the beach, through the forest, and around the Barragem. He was a lovely dog, and his gentle presence brought joy to us all.

We feel his loss deeply and he will be missed by us all .Our thoughts are especially with his mum, FernandaSeromenho , she was the best human that Prince could have ever wished for. They were inseperable and their love for each other was Immense.

Run free, Prince. You will always be remembered on the paths we walked together. 🌈🐾
