Akina and the Seven Stars
Awakening Remembrance in our
Children - Part 1
Akina is one of the 24 character architypes of the Sacred Worlds Game.
THE STORY:
One night, when the sky was velvet and full of twinkling whispers, a gentle light stepped down from the heavens.
Her name was Akina.
She came from the cluster of seven stars called the Pleiades and she was a guide to Nana Kea for eons.
Akina’s hair shimmered like starlight, and her eyes sparkled with the kindness of the universe. She carried a tiny Diamond lantern made of crystal, glowing with all the colours of the rainbow.
She whispered to the children gathered beneath the night sky:
“Each of the seven stars has a gift for you, little ones. If you listen with your heart, they will guide you.”
And so she lifted her diamond lantern, and one by one the stars revealed their magic.
Maia, the first star, shone with courage.
“She gives you the strength to be brave when you feel small,” said Akina.
Electra, the second star, sparkled with creativity.
“She teaches you how to paint, sing, and dream new worlds.”
Taygete, the third star, twinkled with play.
“She reminds you that laughter is medicine and that joy is a path to wisdom.”
Alcyone, the fourth star, gleamed with peace.
“She helps you find calm waters inside when the world feels stormy.”
Celaeno, the fifth star, glowed with mystery.
“She holds the secrets of the unseen worlds, and invites you to explore with wonder.”
Sterope, the sixth star, flashed with compassion.
“She softens your heart so you can care for animals, trees, and one another.”
Merope, the seventh star, shimmered softly, almost hidden.
“She teaches humility, the quiet power of love that doesn’t need to be seen to be real.”
Akina turned to the children and smiled.
“All seven stars live within you too. When you call their names, their gifts awaken inside your heart, this is not a teaching beloved's, this is a rememberance you all hold”
And so, under the great night sky, the children closed their eyes. with great delight.
They whispered the names of the stars, and one by one, their hearts began to glow.
From that night on, whenever they looked up at the Pleiades, they remembered Akina’s diamond lantern — and the seven gifts they carried within their hearts.
