🌿 LIVING A GODLY LIFE IN A WORLD OF SIN

📖 Key Verse: 1 Peter 1:15–16 (KJV)

> “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

1. ✝️ BE HOLY BECAUSE GOD IS HOLY

📖 1 Peter 1:16 (KJV)

> “Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

Holiness begins with God. Since God is holy, His children are called to reflect His character in their daily lives.

2. 🌍 DO NOT FOLLOW THE PATTERN OF THE WORLD

📖 Romans 12:2 (KJV)

> “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

A godly life means refusing to allow the values of a sinful world to control our thoughts, choices, and behavior.

3. 📖 LET GOD’S WORD GUIDE YOUR LIFE

📖 Psalm 119:11 (KJV)

> “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

God’s Word gives us wisdom and strength to recognize sin and choose what is right.

4. 🛡️ STAND FIRM AGAINST TEMPTATION

📖 James 4:7 (KJV)

> “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Temptation is real, but believers can stand firm by submitting to God and resisting sin.

5. 💡 LET YOUR LIFE BE A LIGHT

📖 Matthew 5:16 (KJV)

> “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Our godly conduct can point others toward Christ. We are called to live differently—not for our own glory, but so that God may be glorified.

🌱 APPLICATION

A godly life is not only for Sunday. It is a daily decision to obey God, reject sin, follow His Word, and reflect Christ wherever we are.

🙏 CONCLUSION

We live in a world filled with sin, but God has called His people to holiness. We may not be able to change the whole world, but we can allow God to change our hearts, our character, our choices, and our daily walk.

Be holy. Stand firm. Follow Christ. Let your life shine for God. ✝️

🌱 HOPE IN GOD’S PROMISES

📖 Key Verse: Hebrews 6:19 (KJV)

> “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;”

1. ⚓ GOD’S PROMISES GIVE US AN ANCHOR

📖 Hebrews 6:19 (KJV)

> “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul…”

When life becomes difficult, God’s promises keep our hearts from drifting. Our circumstances may change, but God remains faithful.

2. ❤️ GOD’S PROMISES ARE SURE

📖 2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)

> “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen…”

We can trust what God has spoken because He never breaks His Word.

3. 🙏 GOD’S PROMISES TEACH US TO WAIT

📖 Psalm 130:5 (KJV)

> “I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.”

Waiting does not mean God has forgotten us. We can patiently trust His timing.

4. 💪 GOD’S PROMISES GIVE US STRENGTH

📖 Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

> “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God…”

When we feel weak or afraid, God’s promises remind us that we are not alone.

5. 🌅 GOD’S PROMISES GIVE US HOPE FOR THE FUTURE

📖 Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

> “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know the God who holds tomorrow. His promises give us reason to keep trusting, praying, and moving forward.

🌿 CONCLUSION

God’s promises are not empty words. They are an anchor for the soul. When storms come, hold on to God’s Word. When answers seem delayed, keep trusting. When the future is uncertain, remember that God is faithful to His promises.

⚓ Anchor your hope in God—not in circumstances.

🙏 Commit Your Life to the Lord — Psalm 37:5

1. Commit Your Plans to God
📖 Psalm 37:5 — “Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.”

2. Trust God with All Your Heart
📖 Proverbs 3:5 — “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

3. Follow God’s Direction
📖 Proverbs 3:6 — “In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

4. Give God Your Burdens
📖 Psalm 55:22 — “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you.”

5. Remain Faithful to God
📖 Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest…”

🌸 Conclusion

When we commit our lives to the Lord, we choose to trust His plan, follow His guidance, surrender our burdens, and remain faithful. Put your life in God’s hands and trust Him with your future. 🙏❤️

✝️ FAITH THAT SAVES

📖 Key Verse: Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

«“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.”»

1. ❤️ FAITH RECEIVES GOD’S GRACE

📖 Ephesians 2:8 (KJV)

«“For by grace are ye saved through faith…”»

Lesson: Salvation is God’s gift. We receive it by faith, not by our own merit.

2. ✝️ FAITH TRUSTS JESUS CHRIST

📖 Acts 16:31 (KJV)

«“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…”»

Lesson: Saving faith places our complete trust in Jesus Christ as Savior.

3. 🙏 FAITH DOES NOT TRUST IN GOOD WORKS

📖 Ephesians 2:9 (KJV)

«“Not of works, lest any man should boast.”»

Lesson: Good works cannot save us. Salvation comes through Christ alone.

4. 🌱 FAITH PRODUCES A CHANGED LIFE

📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

«“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”»

Lesson: True faith changes our hearts and produces a new way of living.

5. 🕊️ FAITH CONTINUES TO FOLLOW CHRIST

📖 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)

«“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”»

Lesson: After salvation, we continue trusting God and following Him every day.

❤️ CONCLUSION

Faith that saves is faith that trusts Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith, not by our works. True faith receives Christ, produces a changed life, and continues to walk with Him.

✝️ Believe in Christ. Trust His grace. Walk by faith. Live for Him.
