🪔 Happy Diwali from Guimarães [IN]volve! ✨

On Monday night, Oct 20, we celebrated Diwali – the Festival of Lights – with love, peace, and happiness, together with our amazing Indian community and friends from many cultures 💫

We shared an incredible Indian dinner – Chole Bhature 🍛 – full of flavor and tradition, at 🍽️.

A big thank you to for capturing the magic of the night 📸 — memories we’ll always cherish.

We met with candidate for President of the Municipality of Guimarães 🇵🇹 and Member of Parliament for the Partido Social Democrata, to discuss social inclusion and the vital role of expats in our city.

We also met with (África Minha), IntegArt, and members of the Brazilian Community along some other Intenteis in Guimarães to listen, learn, and build bridges. These associations do extraordinary work, often with very few resources, supporting those who need it most — people and families in vulnerable situations. 🌍

Guimarães is a city where people from all parts of the world live, work, and contribute to its growth and development. Together, we must look forward and drive positive change for a better future.

At Guimarães Involve, we are proud to be on the front line — supporting communities, fighting prejudice, and helping people feel truly included. 🤝✨

A very special day for Guimarães Involve!

We had the immense honour of welcoming His Excellency Dr. Khalid Ijaz, Ambassador of Pakistan, and his esteemed wife for a warm and inspiring visit to Guimarães. It was a pleasure to host them for lunch and meaningful conversations with our team.

Our heartfelt thanks also to Dr. Adelina Pinto, Vice President of the Câmara Municipal de Guimarães, and Dr. Antero Ferreira, President of Sociedade Martins Sarmento, for joining us and supporting this initiative. 🇵🇰🤝🇵🇹

Later in the afternoon, we held a powerful community meetup at Sociedade Martins Sarmento, bringing together members of the Pakistani community along with local Portuguese and individuals of various nationalities. The focus: integration, education, and understanding the challenges faced by immigrant communities.

Together, we exchanged valuable ideas and reaffirmed our commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive society in Guimarães.

Thank you to everyone who made this beautiful day possible. 💚
