Youth Line Family

Youth Line is a youth association active in 🇵🇹, 🇱🇻, 🇬🇷, 🇩🇪, 🇳🇱, 🇸🇪, 🇵🇱!

Our team have participated and organised many initiatives within the field of developing of skills and competences, many of which
included young people as participants or target groups but some of which included them as co-organisers, assistants or volunteers
as well. Our team has a network of contacts, gained during these activities, of young people, minorities, as well as youth workers whose specific situation or knowledge can be put to good use within this project. Moreover we have really positive experience in organising youth projects, we know all the stages and always do everything as effective and responsible as possible. We care about our reputation, about our partners, about our participants and about our donors. In spite of content of our projects, we spend a lot of recourses for organising and reporting. And surely we are oriented not only to achieve the best results, moreover we tend to share the information about our achievements and to make our results more useful in a long-term perspective.

YouthForward Local Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Figueira da Foz

On 21 February 2026, we organised the Portuguese local event of the YouthForward project in Figueira da Foz.

The bootcamp brought together 15 young participants, working in 5 teams of 3, to develop and improve their own business and social project ideas.

During the day, participants worked on key topics such as:

* idea development
* business planning
* social entrepreneurship
* turning ideas into concrete and realistic project plans

The programme was based on practical workshops and group work, giving participants the opportunity to discuss their ideas, receive guidance and take the first steps towards developing them further.

A strong focus was also placed on inclusion and equal access, ensuring that young people with fewer opportunities could fully participate and benefit from the activity.

The local bootcamp was an important step in the YouthForward project. After the event, the teams continued developing their ideas through mentoring support, and one team was selected to represent Portugal at the international entrepreneurship bootcamp in Greece.

YouthForward continues to support young people in building confidence, entrepreneurial skills and new opportunities for their future.

🌟 The final full day of the “International Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Bootcamp” was dedicated to mentoring, reflection, and looking ahead!

Participants explored the role of a mentor, learned practical mentoring techniques, and practiced supporting young people through real-life mentoring simulations. They also discovered how mentoring can empower young people in their career and entrepreneurial journeys.

The bootcamp concluded with personal transfer plans, Youthpass reflection, and a closing celebration, where participants reflected on everything they had learned, celebrated their achievements, and said goodbye to new friends and future collaborators. 💙

🎯 The third full day of the “International Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Bootcamp” focused on preparing ideas for the real world!

Participants explored go-to-market strategies, learned how to reach their first customers, and discovered different funding opportunities for youth-led social enterprises. They also worked on creating strong pitch decks and practiced presenting their projects with confidence.

The day concluded with pitch simulations and feedback sessions, where each team presented its project, exchanged ideas, and received valuable feedback to further improve its business or social initiative. It was another inspiring day of learning, teamwork, and personal growth! 🚀

💡 The second full day of the “International Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Bootcamp” was all about transforming ideas into sustainable projects!

Participants continued developing their concepts using the business model canvas, explored how to design a minimum viable product (MVP), and learned how to test their ideas in practice. They also discovered the basics of social enterprise finance, branding, and storytelling, giving their projects a stronger identity and purpose.

With plenty of time for teamwork, each international group made significant progress, bringing their innovative business and social project ideas one step closer to reality. 🚀

🚀 The first full day of the “International Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Bootcamp” was all about ideas, teamwork, and creativity!

Participants got to know each other, shared their expectations, and explored the differences between entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. They also learned how to use the business model canvas, pitched their first ideas, and formed international teams to start developing innovative business and social projects.

The day ended with an intercultural evening, where participants shared their cultures, traditions, and stories, celebrating the diversity of our international group. 🌍✨

📘 A New Resource for Youth Workers is Now Available!

We are happy to share one of the main results of our Erasmus+ Training Course “Empowering Youth Workers Against Racism and Discrimination”.

Together with 30 youth workers from the Netherlands, Sweden, Romania, Spain, Greece and Slovakia, we created a practical guide to support youth workers in building more inclusive, respectful and welcoming environments for young people.

Inside the guide you will find:
✔ Practical non-formal education methods
✔ Activities and ice-breakers
✔ Reflection exercises
✔ Conflict resolution techniques
✔ Nonviolent Communication (NVC)
✔ Case studies and real-life examples
✔ Ideas for creating inclusive youth spaces

The guide is free to use and can be adapted for youth exchanges, training courses, workshops, youth clubs and other educational activities.

Day 7 marked the official closing of our training course “Empowering Youth Workers Against Racism and Discrimination”.

In the morning, the group co-created a practical manual for youth workers based on their learnings and experience. Then we shifted from “we” to “I.” Each participant designed a personal action plan that they agreed to check with each other after 6 months. The day closed with evaluation, reflection, and Youthpass completion.

This project was never meant to stay within four walls. Its impact now travels across Europe, carried by motivated youth workers ready to act.

Thank you to every participant who contributed not only ideas, but authenticity, vulnerability, and leadership.

This training wouldn’t be possible without our amazing trainer Luca Grasso - NVC coach and facilitator Svitlana Khrystenko 🇺🇦. You did impossible work! You created a safe space where ideas flourished and people with totally different backgrounds felt included and welcomed. Great job!
