November lunch will be our traditional turkey style lunch at Diplomatico. It may be early but it will have a Christmas theme including a prize for the best hat/headwear.
I hope you can join us and help raise funds for the dogs 🐕 🙏

Ps: we still have a December lunch but no turkey on that menu 🤣

🧡💙 A REMINDER ABOUT OUR STREETPUPPY PROGRAMME - FREE STERILISATION FOR PUPPIES UNDER ONE YEAR OLD
🔸 This programme is designed specifically for low-income families across the Sotavento / East Algarve, with the clear goal of reducing the number of unwanted litters, abandoned puppies and shelter overcrowding.
🔸 Puppies / dogs over one year old are not eligible under the StreetPuppy Programme, but StreetLife can still help. We ask for a contribution from the owner, but this is assessed by individual application and what the owner can afford based on their circumstances.
🔸 We are working Hand-in-Hand with our Partner Shelters. When puppies are adopted they will inform the new owners of our StreetPuppy Programme and help them to register the puppy (male or female) in our StreetLife System.
🔸 Register your puppy as early as possibe - they can be just a few months old, and when they are over 6 months we will arrange an appointment with one of our Partner Vets for them to be sterilised.
🔸 If you know of puppy owners in your local community who may need help, or if you see puppies at risk of remaining unsterilised, one of our StreetEyes can initiate the application and get them into the programme.
🔸 email: [email protected]... or contact one of our StreetEyes in your area (all contacts numbers are at the top of this page).
🔸 DO NOT SEND A FACEBOOK MESSAGE WE WILL NOT REPLY

WHY THIS PROGRAMME MATTERS
🔸 Every year, East Algarve shelters are overwhelmed by unplanned litters, abandoned puppies and strays.
🔸 Many puppies are born simply because families cannot afford sterilisation or do not know where to get support.
StreetLife is here to help you 🧡
BE WISE.... STERILISE
Only a Portuguese poster is on our page - if you would like an English version please email and we will send you one.

From a scared, scarred boy to a happy, relaxed dog. ❤️ Meet Sammy

When Sammy arrived, he was frightened and unsure, carrying the scars of a past no dog should endure.
But look at him now. 🥹 A cheeky smile, a happy face and the confidence to relax beside his friends. He’s discovering that life can be kind and that he is safe and loved.
We can’t change Sammy’s past, but at Goldra, we can give him a better future. ❤️
This is what love looks like. This is Goldra. 🐾
