Pandemic Hope é uma iniciativa sem fins lucrativos que surge de uma necessidade de fazer a diferença no combate aos efeitos da Pandemia de COVID-19 e de ser solidário durante este momento particular da história do Mundo. Ao procurar opções de voluntariado 'à distância' deparo-me com uma página canadense (joingenhelp.com/covid | instagram.com/joingenhelp) cujo objetivo é a partilha de mensagens com idosos (mensagens em cartões-postal, com um simples "Bom-dia", por exemplo). Pensei então em utilizar esta ideia com intuito de abranger tantas pessoas quanto possível - solidários (qualquer um que pretenda seguir o exemplo) e destinatários (qualquer pessoa de qualquer faixa etária que possa beneficiar de uma mensagem) - e sob variadas formas: cartão-postal, carta, desenho, fotografia, vídeo (entre outras ideias que possam surgir).

Pandemic Hope aims to share and encourage the sharing of messages with others, especially people who may be more isolated, institutionalized, or deprived of family and friends due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This is a non-profit initiative that arises from a need to make a difference in fighting the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic and to be supportive during this particular moment in the history of the World. When looking for remote volunteering options, I came across a Canadian page (joingenhelp.com/covid | instagram.com/joingenhelp) whose purpose is to share messages with the elderly (postcards, with a simple "Have a Good Day", for example). So I thought about using this idea with the intention of reaching as many people as possible - solidarity ones (anyone who wants to follow the example) and recipients (anyone of any age group who can benefit from a message) - and in various forms: postcard, letter, drawing, photography, video (among other ideas that may arise).
