🚀 Before heading to Lisbon for the Web Summit, it's time to celebrate the talent, research, and innovation that make our ecosystem one of the best for building startups.

IPN, together with the Coimbra at Web Summit consortium, is organizing the "Coimbra, We Have It All" event, part of Portugal Tech Week.

Come meet the 12 startups that will represent Coimbra, watch their elevator pitches, and discuss the future of our region. The event features a roundtable moderated by Carla Duarte (IPN), with the participation of Lurdes Gramaxo (Bynd VC), Jorge Monteiro (Ethiack), and Joao P. Barreto (Perceive3D).

🤝 Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) welcomed an international delegation from Community of Practice 11, part of the International Urban and Regional Cooperation (IURC) programme, funded by the European Union.

💡 The visit was hosted by Jorge Pimenta, Innovation Director at IPN, and provided an opportunity to showcase IPN’s role in the national innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, with a focus on technology transfer, the valorisation of scientific knowledge, and support for the creation and growth of technology-based companies.

🚀 The programme included presentations of some of IPN facilities and initiatives, as well as ESA BIC Portugal and Coimbra Supernova, highlighting the work developed at the intersection of science, technology, entrepreneurship and the market, with a particular focus on the space sector.

🌍 The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences on innovation and cooperation models, reinforcing IPN’s role in fostering an open and collaborative innovation ecosystem.
