IWP offers contact with and support to women who are new to Portugal, longtime residents in the country or those returning home from abroad.

IWP provides a wide range of social, leisure and cultural events, workshops and weekly activity groups including:

•arts and crafts
•book clubs and creative writing
•health, fitness and sport
•language and culture
•monthly coffee mornings and lunches
•mother and baby / toddler groups
•wine, dining and cookery

Sintra Walks - July 2025
Over hill 'n over dale, rain or shine we hit the trail! Come and join us for stimulating walks through the Sintra mountains and along the coast. Meet new friends and enjoy spectacular scenery while exercising. Here are some photos from our walks in July that include fog enshrouded Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in mainland Europe, and a glimpse through the gate of the "Walt Disney House" in the hills of Malveira da Serra. Enjoy the Great Outdoors!
