A Startup Barreiro continua a promover a ligação entre inovação, comércio local e talento jovem, através da iniciativa Barreiro Digital 🛍️🌐
No âmbito deste projeto, a AIP - Associação Industrial Portuguesa em parceria com o IDSET - Associação Empresarial – Instituto para o Desenvolvimento e Economia Social, foram realizadas visitas a comerciantes locais integrados no marketplace Barreiro Digital, com o objetivo de divulgar apoios à digitalização de pequenos negócios, através de vouchers até 2.000€.
🤝💵 Através deste contacto direto, foi possível apresentar oportunidades de financiamento para criação de websites, lojas online, gestão de redes sociais e estratégias de marketing digital, reforçando a competitividade e a modernização do comércio de proximidade no Concelho.

Startup Barreiro continues to promote the connection between innovation, local commerce, and young talent through the Barreiro Digital initiative 🛍️🌐

As part of this project, AIP - Associação Industrial Portuguesa, in partnership with IDSET - Associação Empresarial – Instituto para o Desenvolvimento e Economia Social, conducted visits to local businesses integrated into the Barreiro Digital marketplace, with the aim of publicizing support for the digitalization of small businesses through vouchers of up to €2,000.
🤝💵 Through this direct contact, it was possible to present funding opportunities for the creation of websites, online stores, social media management, and digital marketing strategies, reinforcing the competitiveness and modernization of local commerce in the municipality.

O Conselho Europeu de Inovação (EIC) lançou um convite à apresentação de candidaturas para a participação no Pavilhão da UE na GITEX Global, que decorre entre 8 e 11 de dezembro na Expo City Dubai.
☝O Pavilhão do EIC proporcionará uma plataforma para que as startups selecionadas apresentem as suas inovações em IA, computação quântica, cibersegurança e tecnologias emergentes a um público global de investidores, líderes empresariais e representantes governamentais da região MENA, Ásia, África.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) has launched a call for applications to participate in the EU Pavilion at GITEX Global, which will take place from December 8 to 11 at Expo City Dubai.
☝The EIC Pavilion will provide a platform for selected startups to showcase their innovations in AI, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies to a global audience of investors, business leaders, and government representatives from the MENA region, Asia, and Africa.

Moderado por , este foi um momento de partilha genuína, humana e inspiradora sobre os bastidores do empreendedorismo.
Um enorme agradecimento aos convidados André Nunes (.pt ), Luís Tavares (.pt ), Rita Pinhol (.app ), Professora Luísa Carvalho ( / Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal ) e David Vaz (GestMargens) pela autenticidade, experiências e visão que trouxeram a esta conversa tão necessária. 🙌
Ao longo do painel, falou-se sobre os desafios reais de construir projetos do zero, sobre falhar, adaptar, improvisar, persistir e continuar a avançar mesmo perante a incerteza.
Ficaram reflexões poderosas que resumem o espírito deste encontro:

💼 O futuro do investimento e do empreendedorismo esteve em destaque no painel “The New Fundraising Reality – Inside the Investor’s Mind”, integrado na Startup Europe Week, na StartUp Barreiro.

Foi um privilégio acompanhar esta conversa conduzida por Eugeniu Dodonu, Analista e Especialista Financeiro, que moderou um debate autêntico, esclarecedor e profundamente humano sobre o verdadeiro lado do investimento, das startups e da tomada de decisão.
Um agradecimento especial às incríveis convidadas Rita Piçarra e Isabel Neves, duas referências incontornáveis no ecossistema empresarial e de investimento em Portugal, pela generosidade, transparência e partilha de experiências tão valiosas.

💼 The future of investment and entrepreneurship took center stage at the panel discussion “The New Fundraising Reality – Inside the Investor’s Mind,” held as part of Startup Europe Week at StartUp Barreiro.

It was a privilege to follow this conversation led by Eugeniu Dodonu, Analyst and Financial Specialist, who moderated an authentic, enlightening, and deeply human discussion about the true nature of investment, startups, and decision-making.
A special thank you to the incredible guests Rita Piçarra and Isabel Neves, two indispensable figures in Portugal’s business and investment ecosystem, for their generosity, transparency, and for sharing such valuable experiences.
