EVS Treasure Hunt is a large EVS project involving 20 young people in EVS hosting projects in different organisations in Europe. The main aim of the project is to allow youngsters to realize their wish to live a period of their lives out of their country, through the EVS experience. The final objective of the project is to find EVS treasure by each participant’s phase. They will evaluate this treasure in different ways considering what they learned into the period of the project. They will start a path where they will be able to grow from a personal, cultural and professional point of view. Here in Amarante, they found an Association that, starting from 1993, is promoting and sharing a sustainable and healthy life-style. Aventura Marão Clube is a non-profit organization established in 1993 with the aim to promote healthy lifestyles among the population of Amarante, especially youth. It currently has around 450 members and it develops activities in three main areas: Kayaks, Mountain Biking and Fair Trade. AMC is also responsible for the management and coordination of Casa da Juventude de Amarante (youth center) promoting international mobility and active participation.
