The International Solidarity Movement (ISM) is a Palestinian-led movement committed to resisting the long-entrenched and systematic oppression and dispossession of the Palestinian population, using non-violent, direct-action methods and principles. Founded in August 2001, ISM aims to support and strengthen the Palestinian popular resistance by being immediately alongside Palestinians in olive grov

es, on school runs, at demonstrations, within villages being attacked, by houses being demolished, when Palestinians are subject to harassment or attacks from soldiers and settlers as well as numerous other situations. The ISM lends support to the Palestinian resistance to the apartheid and their demand for freedom through the following activities:

Direct action — participating in non-violent demonstrations, creatively disrupting activity by the Israeli occupation forces, accompanying farmers to their fields and residing with or near families whose homes are threatened with eviction, demolition or harassment by settlers. Documentation — documenting and reporting to local and international media about the daily life under apartheid and countless human rights and international law violations by the Israeli military. The need for documentation is not just to show that there are illegal and unjust actions going on, but also to provide a real means of evidence for accountability to the police and courts, case by case.

On May 5, 2026, a real estate expo called the "Great Israeli Real Estate Event" was held at Park East Synagogue in Manhattan, New York City — marketing properties built on illegally occupied Palestinian land. The event additionally advertises something called "Zionist ROl", framing the purchase of stolen Palestinian land not just as a financial investment, but as an ideological one.

What is being sold here is not just real estate, it is the ongoing colonization of Palestine.

May 2026, Humsa in the Jordan Valley — Israeli settlers continue to harass and attack the communities.

In March 2026, Qusai Abu Al-Kebash's was sexually assaulted and beaten alongside his family and international solidarity activists. The settlers also stole 300 of his sheep. Months later, Qusai has not had his sheep returned to him and no one has been held accountable for the sexual assault and beatings.

Since the attack settler harassment has been relentless towards his family and the other family's in the area and trespass settlers have even trespassed inside a family's tent.

Settlers set up a temporary outpost near families' homes in Khirbet Yarza, leaving them anxious of escalation. This follows multiple outposts in nearby areas of Einun, Tayasir and Al-Aqaba, where settler and army violence has left multiple Palestinians injured.

These larger outposts were disbanded following the murder of martyr Alaa Khaled Sbih last month. Eyewitnesses recognised the settlers in the Khirbet Yarza outpost as the murderers of Alaa.

Israeli settlers harass and threaten the families in Khirbet Yarza daily, and they fear escalation as settlers continue in their attempts to ethnically cleanse the area.

Education continues to be a target of the Isr@eli occupation, which is intentionally destroying the flourishing of current and future generations. From schools' demolitions, teachers and students prevented to cross checkpoints, to settlers' aand army attacks, Isr@el uses different tactics to carry out its plans of ethnic cleansing and genocide.
