BuildPalestine is an address for social innovation and social entrepreneurship in Palestine The term ‘build Palestine’ means something different to everyone.

Founded in 2016, BuildPalestine was introduced as the first Palestinian crowdfunding platform to provide an alternative means of funding for local communities in Palestine. Our team works on the ground to support grassroots efforts to not only run successful crowdfunding campaigns, but also connect with resources and opportunities to make their social enterprise or nonprofit a success. Today, we have grown to become a global community of supporters passionate about building Palestine from the ground up. Together we make up a movement of Palestinians and non-Palestinians who are committed to real impact directly from the community. We believe anything is possible when our community comes together.

ضمن برنامج جذور 2026، اجتمع زملاء بيلدبيالسيتاين في جلسة تدريبية حول فن عرض المشروع وسرد القصص قمنا فيها بجمع خلاصة تجربتهم على مدار ٦ أشهر من رحلة البرنامج.

في الجلسة، تعلّم الزملاء كيف:

✅ يقدّمون مشاريعهم بثقة ووضوح.
✅ يعبّرون عن رؤيتهم وأثرهم المجتمعي.
✅ يوجّهون رسالتهم بما يناسب كل جمهور.

فسرد القصة وعرض المشروع ليسا مجرد مهارتَي تواصل بل وسيلتان لبناء الثقة والوصول إلى الداعمين وفتح فرص جديدة أمام مشاريعهم.

فخورون بكل زملاء بيلدباليستاين ❤️

As part of our Root Program 2026, fellows came together for a training session focused on pitching and storytellin, bringing together everything they’ve learned and built over their 6 month Root journey.
Fellows explored how to:

✅ Present their enterprises clearly and confidently
✅ Communicate their vision and social impact
✅ Tailor their message to different audiences

Storytelling and pitching are more than communication skills, they’re tools that help our fellows build trust, engage supporters, and open new doors for their enterprises.

We are so proud of how far this cohort has come. ❤️

📸 Calling Palestinian photographers & videographers!

This October, we’ll be visiting our 2026 Root Fellows and the social enterprises they’re building across Palestine — and we’re looking for a visual storyteller to join us.

We’re looking for someone who can go beyond documenting the work: someone who can capture the people, places, journeys, and communities behind it.

The assignment will include photography and short-form video storytelling across 6 social enterprises, working closely with the BuildPalestine team and our fellows.

📍 Field visits across Palestine
📅 October 2026

لروّاد الأعمال المجتمعيين الفلسطينيين ، الحلم بمستقبل أفضل مش رفاهية، هو الدافع اللي بخلّيهم يبنوا اليوم حلول حقيقية لمجتمعاتهم. 🇵🇸

من داخل الدورة الثانية من برنامج جذور، ما بدأ زملاؤنا بسؤال "ماذا نفعل؟"، بدأوا بسؤال أعمق: "شو المستقبل يلي بدنا نبنيه لمجتمعاتنا؟" ومن هناك، حدد كل واحد فيهم كيف مشروعه بيساهم فعلياً ببناء هذا المستقبل.

تعرّفوا على رؤية رحمة وسماهر، وشو يعني المستقبل بالنسبة الهم.
