A nonprofit established in 2014 in Ramallah, Palestine. Inspired by personal experience to empower Palestinian youth in refugee camps in Jordan to tell their own personal narrative and document their collective memory through film art, Filmlab uses international models of public and private partnerships to effectively promote film art and film culture in Palestine with the greate
r aspiration to create productive, dynamic film industry in Palestine. The FilmLab aims at contributing in:
1. Creating a hub for filmmaking in Palestine.
2. Elevating film as an art form in Palestine.
3. Strengthening the creative-cultural industry
4. Enhancing capacities and creating jobs for youth
5. Facilitating dialogue among the film industry. Programs:
- Space: The Filmlab makes suitable space, production equipment, and post-production facilities available and equitably accessible for filmmakers in Palestine.
- Talent: Filmlab develops filmmaking capacities by providing international technical support and long-term education programs to Palestinian filmmakers, in addition to facilitating international co-production opportunities.
- Production: Filmlab supports production by cultivating a strong network of filmmakers in Palestine, and providing competitive opportunities for seed-funding and coaching for filmmakers to produce film art.
- Cinema Culture: the Filmlab builds a viable culture of cinema-going and critical viewership by organizing the annual Days of Cinema, regular public film screenings and cinema-centric debates, and hosting a variety of programs to promote production and viewership among children. https://www.facebook.com/daysofcinema/

البرامج
الفضاء: توفير فضاء مزود بالأجهزة والمعدات الضرورية لعملة إنتاج الأفلام، في موقع متاح لصناع السينما في فلسطين
المواهب: تطوير قدرات صناعة الأفلام من خلال توفير الدعم الفني الدولي وبرامج التعلم طويلة الأمد لصناع السينما في فلسطين، بالإضافة إلى تسهيل فرص الإنتاج المشترك مع جهات ومؤسسات دولية
الإنتاج: دعم الإنتاج من خلال تمكين شبكة قوية من صناع السينما في فلسطين، وتوفير فرص تنافسية، تمويلية، وتدريبية لصناع السينما لإنتاج أفلام فنية
السينما والثقافة: بناء ثقافة سينمائية قابلة للحياة لارتياد دور العرض والمشاهدة النقدية للأفلام عبر تنظيم برامج أيام السينما السنوي، وعروض الأفلام ، والنقاشات الدورية، إضافة لاستضافة مجموعة متنوعة من البرامج الهادفة إلى تعزيز الإنتاج والمشاهدة بين الأطفال
