Nour Al-Nahal, a psychologist at Medical Relief in Gaza City, speaks about the importance of psychological support for women with breast cancer, especially those who are forced to have their breasts removed due to the lack of necessary treatment in the sector and their inability to travel abroad for treatment since the outbreak of the war of extermination on Gaza.
نور النحال، أخصائية نفسية في الإغاثة الطبية بمدينة غزة، تتحدث عن أهمية الدعم النفسي للنساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي، لا سيما اللواتي يضطررن إلى استئصال الثدي في ظل عدم توفر العلاج اللازم في القطاع، وتعذّر سفرهن لتلقي العلاج في الخارج منذ اندلاع حرب الإبادة على غزة.

Filastiniyat vous invite à vous inscrire et à participer à la conférence :
Les femmes journalistes palestiniennes prennent la parole : “Témoignages au cœur d’un
génocide”

📅 11–12 novembre 2026
Cette conférence vise à amener directement les voix, expériences vécues, et témoignages des
femmes journalistes palestiniennes auprès d’un public local et international, sans déformation
ni censure.
Cette conférence s’inscrit dans la continuité de l’évènement annuel de Filastiniyat « les femmes
journalistes palestiniennes prennent la parole » organisé pendant huit ans avant d’être
suspendu en 2023 en raison du génocide israélien dans la Bande de Gaza. Elle répond à un
besoin urgent de créer un espace où les voix des femmes journalistes palestiniennes peuvent
être entendues directement.
Organisée selon un format hybride avec un site principal en présentiel à Gaza, et un site
secondaire au Caire, cette initiative met en avant des témoignages tenant compte des
traumatismes subis comme éléments de preuve et sert de levier pour que la communauté
internationale prenne enfin le temps d'écouter, et d'agir.

Palestinian Women Journalists Speak Up: “Testimonies from within a Genocide”​

📅 11–12 November 2026​
The conference brings Palestinian women journalists’ voices, experiences, and first-hand
testimonies directly to local and international audiences, without distortion or censorship.​
Continuing Filastiniyat’s annual “Palestinian Women Journalists Speak Up” conference, held for
eight years until its suspension in 2023 due to the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip, this year’s
conference responds to the urgent need for a space where Palestinian women journalists can be
heard directly.​
Convened in a hybrid format, with a primary in-person hub in Gaza and a secondary hub in
Cairo, the conference centers trauma-informed testimonies as evidence and creates a space for
the international community to listen — and then act.​

وراء كل خبرٍ عابر، ذاكرةٌ تحمل تفاصيل يومٍ مرَّ ولم ينتهِ. وفي الذاكرة ما لا يُروى بالنيابة عن أصحابه، وما لا يكتمل إلا‌‌
حين يجد صوته.‌​
تعود ‌‌"فلسطينيات"‌‌ بمؤتمرها السنوي ‌‌"الإعلاميات يتحدثن"‌‌، بعد انقطاعٍ منذ عام ‌‌2023‌‌م، لتفتح مساحةً لأصوات‌‌
الصحفيات الفلسطينيات، كي يتحدثن عن الإبادة كما عشنها.. لا كما رُويت عنهن.‌​
يأتي المؤتمر هذا العام بصيغةٍ هجينة، تمتد بين غزة والقاهرة وعبر الإنترنت.. هنا، تتجاور الشهادات في مساحةٍ واحدة،‌‌
ليصبح الاختلاف بين التجارب جزءًا من الصورة، لا هامشًا فيها.‌​

منى بكر، صحفية من مدينة غزة، تتحدث في شهادتها عن ما عاشته الصحفيات من استهداف مباشر ومتعمد خلال حرب الإبادة على قطاع غزة، وتتحدث عن ألم الفقد الذي خلّفه استشهاد والدها، والخوف المستمر على أطفالها في ظل القصف والتهديدات المتواصلة. ورغم ثقل الفقد وقسوة التجربة، واصلت عملها الصحفي.

Mona Bakr, a journalist from Gaza City, shares her testimony about the direct and deliberate targeting of women journalists during the genocide on Gaza. She speaks about the pain of losing her father, who was killed, and the constant fear for her children amid ongoing bombardment and threats. Despite the pain of loss and the brutality of her experience, she continued her journalistic work.
