The Heinrich Böll Foundation is part of the Green political movement that has developed globally as a response to the traditional politics of socialism, liberalism, and conservatism. We seek to encourage and facilitate cross-border initiatives and regional cooperation. Our activities are guided by the fundamental political values of universal human rights, ecology, democracy, solidarity, and non-
violence. As a non-profit organization the Heinrich Boell Foundation is affiliated with the German party Alliance 90/The Greens (link). Financial support is mainly provided by the German Ministry of Development and Economic Co-operation (BMZ). The Heinrich Boell Foundation’s head office is located in Berlin with a staff of about 180 people. The Heinrich Boell Foundation established the Palestine & Jordan Office in Ramallah in 1999. Other offices are located in in Tel Aviv, Beirut and Tunis. WHAT WE WANT
Fostering democracy and upholding human rights, taking action to prevent the destruction of the global ecosystem, advancing equality between women and men, securing peace through conflict prevention in crisis zones, and defending the freedom of individuals against excessive state and economic power – these are the objectives that drive the ideas and actions of the Heinrich Böll Foundation. We maintain close ties to the German Green Party (Alliance 90/The Greens) and as a think tank for green visions and projects, we are part of an international network encompassing well over 100 partner projects in approximately 60 countries. The Heinrich Böll Foundation works independently and nurtures a spirit of intellectual openness. We maintain a worldwide network with currently 30 international offices. We cooperate closely with 16 state-level Böll Foundations in each of Germany’s federal states, and we support talented, socio-politically engaged undergraduate and graduate students in Germany and abroad. We gladly follow Heinrich Böll’s exhortation for citizens to get involved in politics, and we want to inspire others to do the same.
مؤسسة هينرش بل جزء من حركة الخضر السياسية التي تطورت عالمياً رداً على السياسات التقليدية المتمثلة بالاشتراكية والليبرالية المحافظة. وإننا نسعى إلى تشجيع وتسهيل المبادرات العابرة للحدود والتعاون الإقليمي. وتتوجه نشاطاتنا بفعل القيم السياسية الجوهرية لحقوق الإنسان العالمية، والبيئة، والديمقراطية، والتضامن، واللاعنف.
بصفتنا مؤسسة غير ربحية، فإن هينرش بل تنتمي لتحالف حزب الحضر 90/ أحزاب الخضر (رابطة). ونتلقى الدعم المالي بشكل أساسي من الوزارة الألمانية للتنمية والتعاون الاقتصادي. يقع مكتب مؤسسة هينرش بل الرئيسي في برلين، ويوظف نحو 180 شخصاً.
أسست مؤسسة هينرش بل مكتب فلسطين والأردن في رام الله سنة 1999. وتقع مكاتبنا الأخرى في المنطقة في بيروت وتونس وتل أبيب.
ماذا نريد
تعزيز الديمقراطية واحترام حقوق الإنسان، و اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لمنع تدمير النظام البيئي العالمي ، والنهوض بالمساواة بين المرأة والرجل ، وتأمين السلام من خلال منع نشوب الصراعات في مناطق الأزمات ، والدفاع عن حرية الأفراد ضد الدولة المفرطة و القوة الاقتصادية - هذه هي الأهداف التي تحرك الأفكار و الأعمال التي تقوم بها مؤسسة هينرش بل . نحافظ على علاقات وثيقة مع حزب الخضر الألماني ( تحالف 90/ الخضر ) و كمركز فكري لرؤى و مشاريع الخضر، و نحن جزء من شبكة دولية تضم أكثر من 100 شريك في المشاريع في 60 بلد تقريبا.
تعمل مؤسسة هينرش بل بشكل مستقل و تغذي روح الانفتاح الفكري . ونحافظ على شبكة واسعة حاليا في 30 مكتبا دوليا حول العالم .بالاضافة الى ذلك نحن نتعاون بشكل وثيق مع 16 دولة على مستوى مؤسسات هينرش بل في كل من الولايات الاتحادية في ألمانيا ، ونحن نؤيد الطلاب الموهوبين المنخرطين بالسياسة الاجتماعية وطلاب الدراسات العليا في ألمانيا والخارج.
نحن بكل سرور نتبع خطى هينرش بل لنحث المواطنين على المشاركة في الحياة السياسية، و لنلهم الاخرين على أن يحذوا حذونا.
