RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) is a subsidiary organisation of RED NOSES International (RNI) which is based in Vienna, Austria, and is the headquarters for the largest clown doctor group in the world. RNPS is an organisation utilising art of clowning to bring humour and laughter to
people in need of joy. For the past 15 years, RNPS has been making a difference for patients, families, and medical staf

f in many healthcare facilities in Palestine. RNPS empowers vulnerable audiences, such as children in hospitals, elderly in care homes, patients in rehabilitation centres, children and youth with mental and multiple disabilities, and other marginalised groups. The figure of the clown is extremely human and touches individuals deeply by bringing them relief and hope in moments where they cannot connect to their positive emotions.

مؤسسة الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين هي مؤسسة فرعية تابعة للأنوف الحمراء الدولية المتواجدة في فيينا- النمسا، وهي المقر الرئيسي لأكبر مجموعة أطباء مهرجين في العالم.

تعمل الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين على نشر الفكاهة والضحك بين من هم بأمس الحاجة للفرح من خلال التهريج الطبي.

وعلى مدار الـ 15 عام الماضية، أحدثت الانوف الحمراء فلسطين فرقاً بالنسبة للمرضى والعائلات والطاقم الطبي في العديد من المرافق الصحية والرعاية في فلسطين.

حيث تعمل الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين على تمكين الجماهير المهمشة مثل الأطفال في المستشفيات، والأشخاص في مراكز دور رعاية المسنين، والمرضى في مراكز إعادة التأهيل، والشباب ذوي الإعاقات العقلية والإعاقات المختلفة، والفئات المهمشة الأخرى.

تعتبر شخصية المهرج إنسانية للغاية وتمس الأفراد بعمق من خلال إسعادهم وزرع الأمل في اللحظات التي لا يمكنهم فيها الاتصال بمشاعرهم الإيجابية. "يمكننا أن نشهد أن وجود الانوف الحمراء فلسطين له تأثير على الحالة النفسية والسلوكيات النفسية للأطفال المصابين بالسرطان، ويمكننا أن نرى التحسن في سلوك الأطفال عندما يرون مهرجين الرعاية الصحية ويبدأون في تقبل العلاج ". 🔴 تخرّج ثمانية من المهرجين الطبيين من الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين في ليتوانيا.

🌟 تخرّج بالأمس ثمانية من المهرجين الطبيين في مؤسسة الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين، بعد إتمامهم 476 ساعة تدريبية ضمن منهاج الأنوف الحمراء، ويتكوّن هذا المنهاج من ثماني وحدات دراسية متخصصة يتوجب على كل مهرج طبي اجتيازها بنجاح ليصبح مهرجاً طبياً مستوفي لكل متطلبات التخريج وأنهاء المنهج التعليمي للأنوف الحمراء.

✨ وبهذا التخرّج، يرتفع العدد الإجمالي للمهرجين الطبيين الخريجيين في المؤسسة إلى 14 مهرجاً ومهرجة، ( 4 مهرجات و10 مهرجين) وحصول المهرج الطبي، علاء أبو غربية، على ميدالية الألف زيارة.

وتواصل الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين التزامها بدعم المهرجين الطبيين وتطوير مهاراتهم بشكل مستمر، بما يعزز رسالتهم الإنسانية في نشر الفرح والدعم النفسي للفئات الأكثر حاجة في فلسطين.

🔴 Eight Healthcare Clowns Graduated from RED NOSES Palestine in Lithuania.

🌟 Yesterday, eight healthcare clowns from RED NOSES Palestine graduated after successfully completing 476 training hours as part of the RED NOSES curriculum. The curriculum consists of eight specialised unites that every healthcare clown must successfully complete in order to fulfil all graduation requirements.

✨ With this graduation, the total number of certified healthcare clowns at RNPS has risen to 14, including 4 female and 10 male healthcare clowns. The occasion also marked healthcare clown Alaa Abu Gharbieh receiving the 1,000 Visits Medal in recognition of his outstanding dedication in finishing 1000 visits.

RNPS continues its commitment to supporting healthcare clowns and continuously developing their skills, further strengthening their humanitarian mission of spreading joy and providing psychosocial support to the communities most in need across Palestine.

RNPS extends its warmest congratulations to Moatasem Abu Hassan, Moayad Samad, Amani Abu Al-Rub, Yasmeen Shallaldeh, Adnan Bobali, Moayad Odeh, Mahmoud Shawish, and Majdi Nazzal, and Alaa Abu Gharbieh wishing them continued success in their professional and humanitarian journeys as they continue to spread humour, laughter, and hope to those who need it most.

🔴 المهرجون الطبيّون في الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين ينشرون الفرح خلال فعالية ماراثون الأطفال.

🌟 نظّمت بلدية رام الله اليوم ماراثون الأطفال لأكثر من 4000 طفل وطفلة والذي شمل على فقرات ترفيهية مميزة من ضمنها مشاركة خمسة من المهرجين الطبيّين في مؤسسة الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين.

✨وقدّم المهرجون عروضاً مليئة بالضحك والمرح، بهدف إدخال البهجة إلى قلوب الأطفال ورسم الابتسامة على وجوههم.

وتأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن جهودنا في دعم الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية للأطفال، والمشاركة في الفعاليات العامة للوصول لجميع الأطفال في كل مكان، خاصة في ظل الظروف الصعبة التي يعيشها الأطفال في فلسطين.

🔴 Our Healthcare Clowns Spread Joy During the Children’s Marathon Event.

🌟Today, Ramallah Municipality organised the Children’s Marathon for more than 4000 children, which included a variety of special entertainment activities, including the participation of five healthcare clowns from RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS).

✨The clowns presented joyful performances filled with laughter and fun, aiming to bring happiness to children’s hearts and smiles to their faces.

This event comes as part of RED NOSES Palestine’s efforts to support children’s mental health and psychosocial well-being, and increasing our participation in public events to reach all children everywhere, especially in light of the difficult circumstances faced by children in Palestine.

🥰Children and their families expressed their happiness and appreciation for the event, which gave them moments of joy, hope, and positive energy.

🌟 في التاسع من شهر مايو، شارك أكثر من 30 طفلًا وطفلة من بلدة جفنا في يوم مليء بالمرح واللحظات المبهجة، بالتنسيق مع جمعية تنمية المرأة الفلسطينية – جفنا.

✨ وقدّم العرض المهرجان الطبيّان “تفاحة اللماحة” و”فريد طنة ورنة”، حيث امتلأت الأجواء بالضحك والتفاعل والطاقة الإيجابية. وتنوّعت الفقرات بين الألعاب التفاعلية، والعروض الكوميدية، والسحر والغناء، ما أتاح للأطفال وأمهاتهم فرصة للاستمتاع والرقص والتعبير عن أنفسهم بحرية في مساحة آمنة وداعمة.

❤️ وتأتي هذه الفعالية تأكيداً على أهمية نشر الفرح والدعم النفسي للأطفال، خاصة في الأوقات الصعبة التي يواجهون فيها ضغوطاً نفسية واجتماعية متزايدة، فالضحك واللعب ليسا مجرد لحظات ترفيهية، بل وسيلة أساسية لتعزيز الشعور بالأمان والتفريغ النفسي للأطفال.

🔴 Healthcare Clowns Spread Joy and Hope Among Children in Jifna.

🌟 On May 9, more than 30 children from the town of Jifna participated in a joyful day filled with fun and uplifting moments, in cooperation with The Palestinian Women’s Development Society – Jifna.

✨ The performance was presented by healthcare clowns “Tuffaha Al Lamaha” and “Farid Tanna wa Ranneh,” creating an atmosphere full of laughter, interaction, and positive energy. The activities included interactive games, comedy performances, magic, and singing, giving children and their mothers the opportunity to enjoy themselves, dance, and express themselves freely in a safe and supportive environment.

❤️ This visit highlights the importance of spreading joy and providing psychosocial support to children, especially during difficult times when they face increasing psychological and social pressures. Laughter and play are not merely moments of entertainment, but essential tools that help children feel safe and emotionally relieved.

🔴 تدريب جديد حول علم النفس لتعزيز التواصل الإنساني بين المهرجين الطبيين.

🌟 عقدت الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين تدريباً متخصصاً لمدة يومين للمهرجين الطبيين، حول علم النفس، قدمته الدكتورة ليلى العطشان في مقرنا في بيرزيت يومي الجمعة والسبت الماضي.

✨ ويهدف التدريب إلى تعميق فهم المهرجين للتطورات النفسية التي يمرّ بها الإنسان في مختلف مراحل حياته، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على مهارات التواصل والدعم النفسي للفئات المستهدفة، ومن خلال نقاشات تفاعلية وتمارين عملية، تناول المهرجون عدة مواضيع، من بينها التغيرات النفسية المرتبطة بالتقدم في العمر، وأساليب التواصل مع كبار السن والأطفال، بالإضافة إلى التعامل مع مواضيع المرض والموت بحساسية وتعاطف، والبعد النفسي للفكاهة.

ويأتي هذا التدريب كجزء من المنهاج المخصص للمهرجين الطبيين في إطار إلتزامنا المستمر بتطوير مهاراتهم، بما يسهم في بناء تواصل إنساني حقيقي وتقديم دعم نفسي اجتماعي فعّال داخل البيئات الصحية.

🔴 A New Training on Psychology to Strengthen Human Connection Among Healthcare Clowns.

🌟 RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) organised a specialised two-day training for healthcare clowns on psychology, delivered by Dr. Laila Al Atshan at our office in Birzeit last Friday and Saturday.

✨ The training aimed to deepen the clowns’ understanding of the psychological developments individuals experience throughout different stages of life, with a special focus on communication skills and psychosocial support for target groups.

Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, the clowns explored several topics, including psychological changes associated with ageing, communication approaches with older citizens and children, as well as dealing with themes related to illness and death with empathy and sensitivity. The training also highlighted the psychological dimension of humour and its impact on psychosocial support within healthcare settings.

This training is part of the specialised curriculum for healthcare clowns, as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening their skills and enhancing their ability to build meaningful human connections and provide effective psychosocial support in healthcare settings.

🔴 بناء ثقافة التغذية الراجعة للمهرجين الطبيين.

🌟 عقدت الأنوف الحمراء فلسطين بالأمس تدريباً متخصصاً للمهرجين الطبيين حول بناء ثقافة التغذية الراجعة، بهدف تعزيز التطوّر الفني وخلق بيئة آمنة تدعم الإبداع والعمل الجماعي، وقدم التدريب المدير الإداري رائد صادق.

وخلال يوم تدريبي تفاعلي، خاض المهرجون مجموعة من التمارين العملية والنقاشات التي ركّزت على:

✨ تطوير مهارات إعطاء واستقبال التغذية الراجعة.
✨ التمييز بين الحكم والملاحظة.
✨ تعزيز الثقة والأمان النفسي داخل الفريق.
✨ استخدام مبادئ التواصل اللاعنفي في العمل الفني.
✨ دعم مراجعة الأقران والتعلّم الجماعي.

أكد التدريب على رسالة أساسية وهي أن التغذية الراجعة ليست لإثبات الخطأ، بل لمساعدة الآخر على التطوّر مع الحفاظ على كرامته.

🔴 Building a Feedback Culture for Healthcare Clowns

🌟Yesterday, RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) organised a specialised training for our healthcare clowns on building a feedback culture, aimed at enhancing artistic development and creating a safe environment that supports creativity and teamwork. The training was delivered by the Managing Director, Raed Sadeq.

During an interactive training day, the clowns engaged in practical exercises and discussions that focused on:

✨ Developing skills for giving and receiving feedback.
✨ Distinguishing between judgment and observation.
✨ Strengthening trust and psychological safety within the team.
✨ Applying the principles of Nonviolent Communication in artistic work.
✨ Supporting peer review and collective learning.

The training emphasised a core message: feedback is not meant to prove someone wrong, but to help others grow while preserving their dignity.

❤️At RNPS, we believe that listening to others is a professional skill and that artistic development requires courage and a safe space to grow.

🔴 اختتام حملة العلاج بالفنون الإبداعية وبداية جديدة في نشر الوعي بأهمية الفنون الإبداعية في حياة الأطفال.

🌟 من شهر نوفمبر 2025 حتى شهر أبريل 2026، سلّطت حملة الضوء على قوة الفنون الإبداعية في دعم الصحة النفسية والرفاه النفسي للأطفال.

✨ وبالتعاون مع شركائنا في سيرك فلسطين، ومؤسسة فن من القلب، وجمعية الكمنجاتي، ومنتدى الفنون البصرية، ومسرح الحرية، وشبكة الفنون الأدائية الفلسطينية...

وصلنا من خلال محتوى الحملة إلى أكثر من مليون و300 ألف مشاهدة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، من خلال مشاركة منشورات هادفة أظهرت كيف يمكن للفنون البصرية والادائية، والموسيقى، والضحك، والمسرح، أن يخففوا القلق، ويعززوا الصمود، ويعيدوا الفرح.

ذكّرتنا هذه الحملة بأن الفنون الإبداعية ليست فقط رفاهية، بل هي شكل مهني وأساسي من أشكال الدعم النفسي والصحة النفسية.

ومع اختتام هذا الجزء من الحملة، يستمر التزامنا في الاستمرار برفع الوعي بأهمية الفنون الإبداعية، لأن الصحة النفسية حق، وكل طفل يستحق الوصول إلى مساحات للتعافي والعلاج.

🔴 As “ ” Campaign Concludes, a New Chapter Begins in Raising Awareness of the Role of Creative Arts in Children’s Lives.

🌟 From November 2025 to April 2026, “Healing with Creative Arts” campaign highlighted the power of creative arts in supporting children’s mental health and wellbeing.

✨ In collaboration with our partners—The Palestinian Circus, Art to Heart Foundation, Al Kamandjati Association, Visual Arts Forum, The Freedom Theatre, and the Palestinian Performing Arts Network.

The campaign’s content reached more than 1.3 million views across social media platforms.
Through engaging and thoughtful posts, we showed how the visual and performing arts, music, laughter, and theatre can ease anxiety, strengthen resilience, and restore joy.

This campaign reminded us that creative arts are not a luxury, but a professional and essential form of psychosocial support.

As this phase of the campaign concludes, our commitment continues to raise awareness about the importance of creative arts— because mental health is a right, and every child deserves access to spaces for healing and recovery.

🔴 In celebration of Easter, our healthcare clowns spread joy among children in the village of Jifna.🎉

🌟Today, our healthcare clowns shared special moments of happiness with more than 30 children from Jifna, supported by the Palestinian Women’s Development Society – Jifna.

✨ The performance was delivered by our clowns, Simsim and Abu Kamouneh, at St. Joseph Church, filling the space with laughter, interaction, and positive energy. The visit included a variety of interactive games and comedy acts, giving children the opportunity to have fun, dance, express themselves freely, and enjoy joyful moments together.
