"روّاد التنمية" هي مؤسسة غير ربحية تعمل مع المجتمعات التي تسعى للتغلب على التهميش من خلال التعليم والبرامج الشبابية التطوعية وتنظيم العمل الأهلي مع القواعد الشعبية. يركز نهج عملنا على تمتين روح المبادرة وتيسير مراجعة وتأطير الأوليات الملحة لحل المشكلات المجتمعية بمشاركة أفراد المجتمع المحلي. نموذج روّاد يتضمن ثلاثة برامج رئيسة: تنمية الطفل، وتمكين الشباب، وتمكين المجتمع.

تنمية هي وليدة فكرة آمن بها فادي غندور، الريادي ومؤسس شركة أرامكس العالمية الرائدة في القطاع اللوجستي. يدعم فادي دور القطاع الخاص في دفع عجلة التنمية الإجتماعية المستدامة في المنطقة العربية، ومن هذا المنطلق قام في عام 2005 بتأسيس "رواد التنمية" من خلال دعم أرامكس بالتحالف مع مجموعة من رجال الأعمال من أجل هدف واضح، وهو توظيف أدوات الريادة والقدرات الخلاقة لتعزيز الموارد ودعم الكفاءات الشبابية في سبيل خدمة المجتمع وللنهوض به، ولدحض حالة عدم التكافؤ الاجتماعي في العالم العربي، من أجل المساهمة في تحقيق العدالة والمساواة.
ويتجسد تطلّع روّاد التنمية في الانتشار الحالي لها في الأردن ومصر ولبنان وفلسطين؛ حيث تعمل من خلال شبكة قوية من الشراكات مع المجتمع المدني والمؤسسات الحكومية. إذ أن الممولين الرئيسيين لروّاد هم روّاد أعمال قد وظّفوا وقتهم وخبراتهم وعلاقاتهم بهدف تحقيق أهداف المؤسسة، والتي تضع في مقدمتها إتاحة المزيد من الفرص للشباب وإيجاد فرص متكافئة لهم، وتعزيز إشراك 360 من المجتمعات المدنية وتشجيع إيجاد الحلول الجذرية الشاملة.
تؤمن روّاد التنمية بالتعددية والتنوع بكافة أشكاله. ويعمل فريق عملها ضمن إطار يستند إلى الفعالية والمشاركة في المنهجية والمبدأ. وتعمل روّاد التنمية على تعزيز الحوار مستمر مع مختلف جهات المجتمع، لتشجيع حرية التعبير والنقد البناء من أجل تحفيز التغيير وزعزعة "الوضع القائم" الذي يهدد فاعلية ونماء المجتمعات. Ruwwad Al-Tanmeya is a non-profit community development organization that works with disenfranchised communities through education, youth volunteerism and grassroots organizing. Our approach encompasses an array of programs and projects that, together, strengthen initiative and facilitate redress to problems prioritized by members of the community. Three main programs anchor Ruwwad: Child Development, Youth Organizing and Community Support. Ruwwad is the brainchild of Fadi Ghandour, serial entrepreneur and founder of Aramex International, one of the world’s leading logistics companies. A strong advocate of a more public-spirited and decisive presence for the Arab private sector in the sustainable development of the region, in 2005, Fadi mobilized Aramex and brought together a group of likeminded businessmen with the singular aim of deploying entrepreneurship -talent, resources and skills- in the service of community and to help tackle, however modestly, the inequities that pervade the Arab world. Ruwwad, which spans today Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and Palestine, and operates through a strong network of partnerships with civil society and governmental agencies, is the articulation of this ambition. Ruwwad’s main financial backers are entrepreneurs, whose commitment, experience and reach are put to use in advancing its goals, foremost among them generating opportunities and leveling the playing field for the youth, nurturing 360-civic engagement and actively encouraging ground-up solutions. By sheer virtue of its aspirations, Ruwwad embraces pluralism and insists on respect for diversity. Our team’s working framework is activist and participatory, in method and as a matter of principle. Ruwwad’s, in fact, is a continuous conversation with the communities’ various constituencies, as much to invite freewheeling expression and critical thinking as it is to disrupt the status quo and its entrenched interests.
