Under the project “Supporting Livelihoods and Economic Recovery through Accelerated Skills Training for Palestinian Youth,” funded by Representative Office of Japan to Palestine, UNESCO, in cooperation with جامعة فلسطين التقنية - خضوري Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, is supporting crisis-affected youth aged 15 and above from Jenin and Tulkarm through accelerated skill training.
The training equips young people with practical, market-relevant skills, including digitalization and entrepreneurship, while also supporting their well-being and helping them build the confidence, skills, adapt to change, and move towards sustainable employment and livelihoods.
The programme gives particular attention to young women, youth with disabilities, and displaced youth, who often face additional barriers to education, skills development, and livelihood opportunities. By creating pathways to learning, skills development, and economic participation, the programme contributes to strengthening young people’s resilience and their ability to rebuild their futures.
في إطار مشروع "دعم سبل العيش والتعافي الاقتصادي من خلال التدريب المسرع على المهارات للشباب الفلسطيني"، الممول من حكومة اليابان، تدعم اليونسكو، بالتعاون مع جامعة فلسطين التقنية - خضوري، الشباب المتأثرين بالأزمات من عمر 15 عاماً فما فوق من محافظتي جنين وطولكرم، وذلك من خلال برامج التدريب المكثف على اكتساب المهارات.
يُزوّد هذا التدريب الشباب بمهارات عملية وملائمة لمتطلبات سوق العمل، بما في ذلك المهارات الرقمية وريادة الأعمال، كما يدعم رفاههم النفسي ويساعدهم على بناء الثقة بالنفس، وتنمية المهارات، والتكيف مع التغيرات، والتوجه نحو فرص عمل وسبل عيش مستدامة.
ويولي البرنامج اهتماماً خاصاً بالشابات، والشباب من ذوي الإعاقة، والشباب النازحين، الذين غالباً ما يواجهون تحديات إضافية في الوصول إلى التعليم، وتنمية المهارات، وفرص كسب العيش. ومن خلال توفير مسارات للتعلم وتطوير المهارات والمشاركة الاقتصادية، يساهم البرنامج في تعزيز قدرة الشباب على الصمود وتمكينهم من إعادة بناء مستقبلهم
