نظم مركز العمل التنموي / معا يوم الاثنين الموافق 19 تشرين الأول 2026، في مدينة أريحا، حفل إطلاق وتوقيع اتفاقيات منح لدعم 128 مشروعا اقتصاديا تقودها نساء في محافظتي أريحا وطوباس والأغوار، ضمن مشروع "آفاق 3" الهادف إلى تعزيز صمود المجتمعات الفلسطينية وتمكين النساء اقتصاديا، بتمويل من الممثلية النرويجية لدى دولة فلسطين، وبالشراكة مع وزارة العمل.

أقيم الحفل تحت رعاية وزيرة العمل، الدكتورة إيناس العطاري، وبمشاركة سفير دولة النرويج لدى دولة فلسطين، السيد إيريك بيرغراف، ومحافظ أريحا والأغوار، الدكتور حسين حمايل، ومحافظ طوباس والأغوار الشمالية، السيد أحمد الأسعد، إلى جانب رئيسة وأعضاء مجلس إدارة مركز معا، وممثلين عن المؤسسات الرسمية والأهلية والدولية، ومجالس التشغيل والمجالس المحلية، وصاحبات المشاريع المستفيدات.

وأكد مدير مركز العمل التنموي /معا السيد سامي خضر، في كلمته، أهمية التمكين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للمرأة الفلسطينية، مشيرا إلى أن دعم النساء وتعزيز مشاركتهن في النشاط الاقتصادي ينعكسان إيجابا على أسرهن ومجتمعاتهن، ويسهمان في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتعزيز صمود المواطنين في ظل التحديات الاقتصادية والمعيشية الراهنة.

وأوضح خضر أن اجمالي المشاريع الاقتصادية النسوية المدعومة ضمن مشروع آفاق بمراحله الثلاث سيصل، مع إطلاق المشاريع الجديدة، إلى 175 مشروعا، بقيمة إجمالية تقارب مليون و 465 الف دولار، في إطار جهود المركز لتوفير فرص العمل والدخل وتعزيز مشاركة النساء في التنمية الاقتصادية.

وشدّد على أن دور المركز لا يقتصر على تقديم الدعم لتأسيس المشاريع، بل يشمل أيضا مرافقة صاحباتها وتطوير قدراتهن، وتسهيل وصولهن إلى التمويل والأسواق والتدريب، بما يعزز فرص استمرارية مشاريعهن ونموها. كما أكد أهمية تكامل الجهود بين المؤسسات الحكومية والأهلية والقطاع الخاص لضمان استدامة المشاريع وتحقيق أثر اقتصادي واجتماعي ملموس.

وثمّن خضر دعم الحكومة النرويجية وشراكتها التنموية مع مركز «معاً» الممتدة لأكثر من عشرين عاماً، كما أشاد بتعاون وزارة العمل والمحافظتين ومجالس التشغيل والمجالس المحلية والمؤسسات الشريكة، ودورها في دعم تنفيذ البرامج التنموية والوصول إلى الفئات المستفيدة.

وتتنوع المشاريع المدعومة لتشمل قطاعات الزراعة والتصنيع الغذائي والخدمات والتجارة والصناعة، بما يتيح للنساء تطوير أنشطتهن الإنتاجية، وتوسيع مصادر دخلهن، وخلق فرص عمل، والتغلب على التحديات المرتبطة بالتمويل والتسويق واستمرارية الإنتاج.

يأتي تنفيذ مشروع "آفاق 3" ضمن جهود مركز معا المتواصلة لتعزيز التمكين الاقتصادي للنساء والشباب، ودعم المشاريع الصغيرة والتعاونيات، وتوفير فرص تنموية مستدامة تسهم في تحسين الظروف المعيشية للأسر الفلسطينية وتعزيز صمود المجتمعات المحلية. ويعتزم المركز إطلاق المزيد من المشاريع والتدخلات التي تستهدف النساء والشباب تباعاً قبل نهاية العام الجاري، مع مواصلة تقديم الدعم والمساندة لصاحبات المشاريع وتطوير قدراتهن وتعزيز فرص نجاح أعمالهن واستدامتها.

📌MA’AN Development Center Signs Grant Agreements with 128 Women in Jericho and Tubas under the “AFAQ 3” Project to Strengthen Economic Empowerment
Supported by the Norwegian Representative Office to the State of Palestine, in partnership with the Ministry of Labour

On Monday, 19 October 2026, MA’AN Development Center held a ceremony in Jericho to launch and sign grant agreements supporting 128 women-led economic enterprises in Jericho, Tubas, and the Jordan Valley. The grants are part of the “AFAQ 3” project, which aims to strengthen the resilience of Palestinian communities and advance women’s economic empowerment, with funding from the Norwegian Representative Office to the State of Palestine and in partnership with the Ministry of Labour.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Minister of Labour Dr. Enas Al-Attari, with the participation of Norway’s Ambassador to the State of Palestine, Mr. Erik Berggrav; Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel; and Governor of Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley, Mr. Ahmad Al-As’ad. Also attending were the Chairwoman and members of MA’AN’s Board of Directors, representatives of governmental institutions, civil society and international organizations, employment councils, local councils, and the women entrepreneurs receiving the grants.

In his remarks, MA’AN Development Center’s Director, Mr. Sami Khader, emphasized the importance of Palestinian women’s economic and social empowerment. He noted that supporting women and strengthening their participation in economic activity benefits their families and communities, contributes to the national economy, and reinforces resilience amid ongoing economic and livelihood challenges.

Khader explained that, with the launch of the new enterprises, the total number of women-led businesses supported across the three phases of the AFAQ project will reach 175, with a combined value of approximately USD 1.465 million. This support forms part of MA’AN’s efforts to create employment and income opportunities and strengthen women’s participation in economic development.

He stressed that MA’AN’s role extends beyond providing support to establish businesses. It also includes ongoing guidance, capacity development, and facilitating access to finance, markets, and training to strengthen the prospects for business continuity and growth. He also emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among governmental institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector to ensure the sustainability of these enterprises and achieve tangible economic and social impact.

Khader expressed appreciation for the Norwegian government’s support and its development partnership with MA’AN, which spans more than twenty years. He also commended the cooperation of the Ministry of Labour, the two governorates, employment councils, local councils, and partner institutions, highlighting their role in supporting development programmes and reaching intended beneficiaries.

The supported enterprises span agriculture, food processing, services, trade, and industry, enabling women to develop their productive activities, diversify their income sources, create jobs, and overcome challenges related to financing, marketing, and continuity of production.

The “AFAQ 3” project is part of MA’AN’s ongoing efforts to advance the economic empowerment of women and young people, support small businesses and cooperatives, and provide sustainable development opportunities that improve Palestinian families’ living conditions and strengthen the resilience of local communities. MA’AN plans to launch further projects and interventions targeting women and young people before the end of this year, while continuing to support women entrepreneurs, develop their capacities, and strengthen the prospects for their businesses’ success and sustainability.

📌انطلاق المرحلة النهائية من تقييم المتقدمين لمشروع "إعادة تشغيل المنشآت الصغيرة والمتوسطة في قطاع غزة عبر إتاحة الوصول إلى أنظمة الطاقة"
يعلن مركز العمل التنموي/ معاً عن استكمال المرحلتين الأولى والثانية من عملية تقييم المتقدمين للاستفادة من مشروع "إعادة تشغيل المنشآت الصغيرة والمتوسطة في قطاع غزة عبر إتاحة الوصول إلى أنظمة الطاقة"، والبدء بالمرحلة الثالثة والنهائية من عملية التقييم، والتي تشمل تنفيذ زيارات ميدانية للمرشحين الذين استوفوا متطلبات ومعايير التقييم في المراحل السابقة.
وقد بدأت الفرق المختصة بتنفيذ زيارات ميدانية لـ 74 مرشحًا، بهدف التحقق من البيانات والمعلومات المقدمة، واستكمال عملية التقييم وفق المعايير المعتمدة للمشروع. ومن المقرر أن تتواصل هذه الزيارات خلال شهر أكتوبر الجاري.
وبعد استكمال الزيارات الميدانية ومراجعة نتائج التقييم، من المتوقع 20 مستفيدًا للحصول على الدعم ضمن المشروع، وذلك وفقًا للمعايير والإجراءات المعتمدة.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار حرص مركز العمل التنموي/ معاً على ضمان وصول الدعم إلى المنشآت الأكثر استحقاقًا واستيفاءً للمعايير، وتعزيز الشفافية والعدالة في عملية الاختيار، بما يسهم في تحقيق أهداف المشروع ودعم استمرارية الأعمال وتعظيم الأثر الاقتصادي والتنموي على المستفيدين.
📌Launch of the Final Stage of the "Restoring the Operations of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Gaza through Access to Energy Systems" Project
MA’AN Development Center announces the completion of the first and second stages of the assessment process for applicants seeking to benefit from the project “Restoring the Operations of Small and Medium Enterprises in Gaza through Access to Energy Systems,” and the launch of the third and final stage of the assessment process.
The final stage includes field visits to 74 shortlisted candidates who have met the assessment requirements and criteria applied during the previous stages. The specialized teams have started conducting field visits to verify the information provided by the candidates and complete the assessment process in accordance with the project’s approved criteria. The field visits are expected to continue throughout October.

MA'AN Development Center hosted a delegation from the NGO Development Center (NDC) to review the progress of the “NOUR” project and discuss the updated environmental and social screening procedures. MA’AN was selected to pilot these procedures ahead of their rollout to the other partners implementing the project. The visit reflects the ongoing cooperation and coordination among partner organizations to ensure the project is implemented and its objectives achieved.
The “NOUR” project is implemented under the “Social Recovery and Job Creation” program, funded by the World Bank, under the supervision of the Palestinian Ministry of Finance and Planning, and managed by the NGO Development Center (NDC).

✅ تأهيل 5.7 كم من الطرق الزراعية
✅ تركيب نظامَي طاقة شمسية بقدرة 15 كيلوواط لكل منهما

A delegation from the Swedish Consulate, Sida, and We Effect visited Jenin to review achievements under LIFT PALESTINE and hear from farmers about the projects’ impact on their work and livelihoods.

✅ 5.7 km of agricultural roads rehabilitated
✅ Two 15 kW solar power systems installed
✅ 4 km of water pipelines installed

Implemented by MA’AN Development Center in partnership with We Effect, with support from the Swedish Government, these interventions strengthen farmers’ resilience and agricultural infrastructure.

مركز العمل التنموي معاً يطلق سلسلة من الأنشطة لتعزيز حقوق الفتيات وتمكينهن في اليوم الدولي للفتاة.

أطلق فريق حماية الطفولة في مركز العمل التنموي معاً، بدعم من منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة يونيسف UNICEF، سلسلة من الأنشطة التفاعلية والترفيهية والرياضية التي تستهدف الفتيات، بهدف تعزيز ثقتهن بأنفسهن، وتنمية قدراتهن ومهاراتهن، وتوفير مساحات آمنة تتيح لهن التعبير عن أنفسهن والمشاركة الفاعلة.

وشملت الأنشطة مسابقات وتحديات رياضية بين فرق كرة القدم للفتيات، وأنشطة ترفيهية وفنية، إلى جانب جلسات توعية تهدف إلى تعزيز الوعي بحقوق الفتيات، وأهمية حمايتهن ودعم مشاركتهن في مختلف المجالات.

وتأتي هذه الأنشطة تأكيداً على أهمية الاستثمار في الفتيات، وتعزيز فرصهن في التعلم واللعب والمشاركة، وإتاحة المساحة أمامهن لاكتشاف مواهبهن وتطوير قدراتهن، بما يسهم في بناء بيئة أكثر أماناً ودعماً لهن، ويعزز دورهن في مجتمعاتهن.

With support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Child Protection Team at MA’AN Development Center launched a series of interactive, recreational, and sports activities for girls. The activities aim to strengthen their self-confidence, develop their abilities and skills, and provide safe spaces where they can express themselves and actively participate.

The activities included competitions and sports challenges among girls’ football teams, recreational and artistic activities, and awareness sessions highlighting girls’ rights, the importance of protecting them, and supporting their participation across all areas of life.

These activities reaffirm the importance of investing in girls, expanding their opportunities to learn, play, and participate, and giving them space to discover their talents and develop their abilities. They contribute to building a safer, more supportive environment for girls and strengthening their role in their communities.

Every girl deserves to learn, dream, participate, and grow up in safety and dignity. Let us invest in girls’ rights today for a fairer and more equitable future for all.

نظم مركز العمل التنموي معا يوم العرض للتقييم النهائي لاصحاب المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة من قرى غرب رام الله شملت مناطق نعلين وشبتين وقبيا والمدية وبدرس ضمن مشروع "بناء قدرة الصمود في مجتمعات الضفة الغربية (المنطقة ج) لتحويل الصدمة الحالية الى مستقبل مستدام بالشراكة مع اوكسفام وبتمويل من الحكومة الالمانية BMZ/ TDA. يهدف البرنامج الى تطوير الاعمال الصغيرة والمتوسطة دعما لصمود المجتمعات المستهدفة في ظل الظروف الراهنة.
شارك 19 متقدم في تدريبات بناء نماذج الاعمال والتخطيط والادارة المالية قبل عرض مشاريعهم امام لجنة تحكيم، وتم اختيار 10 مشاريع كمرحلة اولى من البرنامج للحصول على دعم مالي لتوفير جميع الاصول والاحتياجات اللازمة لتطوير اعمالهم، اضافة لاستكمال البرنامج الذي سيوفرتدريبات و جلسات ارشاد فردية لكل مشروع حسب احتياجه والمشاركة في فعالية تشبيك لتوسيع شبكة علاقاتهم ونشاطاتهم التجارية.

📌MA’AN Holds Pitching Day and Selects 10 Businesses for Support in Villages West of Ramallah

MA’AN Development Center organized a pitching day for the final assessment of small and medium-sized businesses from Ni’lin, Shibtin, Qibya, Al-Midya, and Budrus, west of Ramallah. The event was held under the project “Building Resilience in West Bank Communities (Area C) to Transform the Current Shock into a Sustainable Future,” implemented in partnership with Oxfam and funded by the German Government through BMZ/TDA. The programme aims to develop small and medium-sized businesses, strengthening the resilience of targeted communities amid current challenges.

A total of 19 applicants received training in business model development, planning, and financial management before presenting their businesses to an evaluation panel. Ten businesses were selected in the programme’s first phase to receive financial support to acquire the assets and other resources needed to develop their operations. They will also receive further training and individual mentoring tailored to their needs, alongside opportunities to participate in a networking event to expand their business connections and commercial activities.

The project will continue with its second and third phases over the next two years, selecting at least 20 additional businesses for support as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community resilience and promote economic empowerment.

📌 مناظرة بيئية تناقش أزمة المياه في الضفة الغربية والسبل الممكنة لمعالجتها

نظّم مركز العمل التنموي/معاً، بالتعاون مع شبكة وطن الإعلامية، مناظرة بيئية بعنوان «أزمة المياه في الضفة الغربية – الواقع والحلول»، ضمن مشروع «نحو العدالة البيئية وحشد العمل المجتمعي»، بدعم مالي من مؤسسة هاينرش بل الألمانية.

وشارك في المناظرة كلٌّ من الدكتور معاذ أبو سعدة، نائب رئيس سلطة المياه الفلسطينية، والدكتور عبد الرحمن التميمي، مدير عام مجموعة الهيدرولوجيين الفلسطينيين، والدكتور نضال محمود، الباحث والأكاديمي في جامعة بيرزيت، وفارس المالكي، مدير عام العلاقات العامة في مصلحة مياه محافظة القدس.

وتناولت المناظرة واقع أزمة المياه في الضفة الغربية، بين شحّ توفرها واختلال توزيعها، وناقشت سبل معالجتها من خلال الإدارة الفعّالة للمصادر المائية وترشيد الاستخدام، بما يعزّز عدالة الوصول إلى المياه.

باشر مركز العمل التنموي/معاً تنفيذ أعمال إنشاء وتطوير نظام لتصريف مياه الأمطار في بلدة نعلين غرب رام الله، ضمن مشروع "بناء قدرة الصمود في مجتمعات الضفة الغربية (المنطقة ج) لتحويل الصدمة الحالية إلى مستقبل مستدام"، الممول من وزارة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية الألمانية (BMZ)، والمنفذ من مركز معاً بالشراكة مع أوكسفام.

يأتي هذا التدخل استجابةً لاحتياجات البنية التحتية في البلدة، بهدف تحسين تصريف مياه الأمطار والحد من تجمعها ومخاطر الجريان السطحي خلال فصل الشتاء، وتعزيز سلامة واستدامة البنية التحتية المحلية.

تشمل الأعمال إنشاء خط لتصريف مياه الأمطار باستخدام أنابيب خرسانية مسلحة إلى جانب أعمال الحفر والردم والدمك وإنشاء قناة لتصريف المياه بطول 50 مترًا.

ويتميز التدخل كذلك بدمج فرص عمل مؤقتة ضمن برنامج النقد مقابل العمل (Cash for Work)، حيث يشارك عمال من المجتمع المحلي في تنفيذ الأعمال المرتبطة بالمشروع، بما يسهم في الجمع بين تحسين البنية التحتية المجتمعية وتوفير فرص دخل مؤقتة للأسر والأفراد المستهدفين

ويشكل هذا التدخل جزءًا من مجموعة من أعمال البنية التحتية والخدمات الأساسية التي ينفذها مركز معاً في القرى المستهدفة غرب رام الله، بهدف تعزيز قدرة المجتمعات المحلية على الصمود وتحسين الخدمات الأساسية والاستجابة للاحتياجات ذات الأولوية
📌MA’AN Begins Stormwater Drainage Project in Ni’lin

MA’AN Development Center has begun constructing and upgrading a stormwater drainage system in Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, as part of the project “Building Resilience in the Communities of the West Bank (Area C) to Transform the Current Shock into a Sustainable Future,” funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by MA’AN in partnership with Oxfam.

The intervention responds to the town’s infrastructure needs, aiming to improve stormwater drainage, reduce water accumulation and surface runoff risks during winter, and enhance the safety and sustainability of local infrastructure.

The works include installing a stormwater drainage pipeline using reinforced concrete pipes, alongside excavation, backfilling and compaction works, and constructing a 50-metre drainage channel.

The intervention also incorporates temporary employment opportunities through the Cash for Work programme. Workers from the local community participate in project activities, combining improvements to community infrastructure with temporary income opportunities for targeted individuals and households.

This intervention forms part of a broader set of infrastructure and basic service improvements implemented by MA’AN in the target villages west of Ramallah, aimed at strengthening community resilience, improving basic services and addressing priority needs.

🧠💚 بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للصحة النفسية
اختتم مركز العمل التنموي/ معاً برنامج الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي الجماعي، والذي نُفذ في إطار أنشطة مشروع "الدعم الشامل لمؤسسات المجتمع المدني في قطاع غزة مع التركيز على النساء"، ضمن برنامج "الاستثمار من أجل تعزيز القدرة على الصمود (IPR)"، الذي ينفذه برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي/برنامج مساعدة الشعب الفلسطيني (UNDP/PAPP)، بتمويل من الحكومة الألمانية عبر بنك التنمية الألماني (KfW).
يهدف البرنامج إلى تعزيز الصحة النفسية وتوفير مساحة آمنة للمستفيدين/ات للتعبير عن مشاعرهم، ومشاركة تجاربهم، واكتساب مهارات تساعدهم على التكيف والتعامل مع الضغوط والتحديات اليومية.
وقد استفاد من البرنامج 200 مستفيد/ة، من خلال تنفيذ 189 جلسة دعم نفسي جماعي، بواقع 283 ساعة من جلسات الدعم والتفاعل والمساندة، وذلك خلال الفترة من مايو وحتى أكتوبر 2026.
وشكّل البرنامج مساحة إنسانية آمنة للحوار والاستماع والتعبير، وأسهم في تعزيز الشعور بالدعم والانتماء، والتأكيد على أهمية الصحة النفسية كجزء أساسي من الصحة العامة وجودة الحياة.
🌿 في اليوم العالمي للصحة النفسية، نؤكد أن الاهتمام بالصحة النفسية ليس ترفاً، بل حق وحاجة أساسية، وأن طلب الدعم والمساندة هو خطوة نحو التعافي والقوة.
كل الشكر والتقدير لكل من ساهم في إنجاح هذا البرنامج، ولجميع المستفيدين/ات الذين كانوا جزءاً من هذه التجربة الإنسانية.

📌MA’AN Concludes Group Psychosocial Support Programme for 200 Participants in Gaza, Marking World Mental Health Day

🧠💚 On the occasion of World Mental Health Day
MA’AN Development Center concluded its Group Psychosocial Support Program, implemented as part of the activities of the project “Inclusive Support for Civil Society Organizations in the Gaza Strip with a Focus on Women” under the “Investment Program for Resilience (IPR)”, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme/Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), with funding from the of Germany Government through its Development Bank (KfW)
The programme aimed to promote mental health and provide a safe space for participants to express their feelings, share their experiences, and develop skills to help them cope with daily stress and challenges.
A total of 200 participants benefited from the programme through 189 group psychosocial support sessions, amounting to 283 hours of support, interaction, and peer engagement, implemented from May to October 2026.
The programme provided a safe and supportive space for dialogue, listening, and self-expression. It contributed to strengthening participants’ sense of support and belonging, while highlighting the importance of mental health as an essential part of overall health and quality of life.
🌿 On World Mental Health Day, we reaffirm that caring for mental health is not a luxury, but a fundamental right and essential need. Seeking support and assistance is a step towards healing, resilience, and strength.

📌معاً يدعم 1,500 أسرة نازحة و3,000 فرد في غزة بمستلزمات أساسية بدعم كندي
في إطار مشروع “تعزيز صمود المأوى والحماية للأسر النازحة في غزة”، نفّذ مركز العمل التنموي – معا بالشراكة مع الشؤون العالمية الكندية (Global Affairs Canada) تدخلا إنسانيا لدعم الأسر والأفراد الأكثر هشاشة وتأثرا بالظروف الإنسانية الصعبة في قطاع غزة.
شملت الاستجابة توزيع طرود عائلية تحتوي على مستلزمات أساسية للفراش، استفادت منها 1,500 أسرة نازحة، إلى جانب طرود فردية تضمنت ملابس ومستلزمات للنظافة الشخصية، استفاد منها 3,000 فرد، مع إعطاء الأولوية للفئات الأكثر احتياجا، بما في ذلك كبار السن والأطفال والأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة والنساء الحوامل وغيرها من الفئات التي تواجه احتياجات وحماية متزايدة.
نُفذت عمليات التوزيع وفق معايير الاستهداف الإنساني وآليات التحقق المعتمدة، مع التركيز على الأسر النازحة والأكثر احتياجا، وبما يراعي مبادئ الكرامة والسلامة وعدم التمييز.
تسهم هذه التدخلات في توفير الدعم الأساسي للأسر المتضررة، والتخفيف من بعض آثار النزوح والظروف الإنسانية المتدهورة، وتعزيز قدرتها على مواجهة الاحتياجات اليومية.
ويواصل مركز العمل التنموي – معا، بدعم من شركائه، العمل على الاستجابة للاحتياجات الإنسانية العاجلة في غزة، وتوسيع نطاق التدخلات بما يتناسب مع حجم الاحتياجات المتزايدة، مع الالتزام بمبادئ العمل الإنساني وحماية كرامة وسلامة المجتمعات المتضررة.
بدعم من الشؤون العالمية الكندية، نواصل العمل معا من أجل استجابة إنسانية أكثر شمولا وكرامة للأسر المتضررة في غزة.
📌MA’AN Provides Essential Supplies to 1,500 Displaced Families and 3,000 Individuals in Gaza with Canadian Support

As part of the project “Enhancing Shelter Resilience and Protection for Displaced Families in Gaza,” MA’AN Development Center, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada (GAC), implemented a humanitarian intervention to support families and individuals facing heightened vulnerability and the severe humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
The response included the distribution of family kits containing essential bedding items, reaching 1,500 displaced families, as well as individual kits containing clothing and personal hygiene items, reaching 3,000 individuals. Priority was given to those facing the greatest needs, including older persons, children, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and other groups experiencing heightened needs and protection concerns.
The distributions were carried out in accordance with established humanitarian targeting criteria and verification mechanisms, with a particular focus on displaced and highly vulnerable families, while ensuring respect for the principles of dignity, safety, and non-discrimination throughout the response.
These interventions provide essential support to affected families, helping alleviate some of the impacts of displacement and deteriorating humanitarian conditions, while strengthening their ability to cope with their immediate and daily needs.
MA’AN Development Center, with the support of its partners, continues to respond to urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza and to expand its interventions in line with the growing scale of needs, while remaining committed to the principles of humanitarian action and the protection of the dignity and safety of affected communities.
With the support of Global Affairs Canada, we continue working together toward a more inclusive and dignified humanitarian response for affected families in Gaza.
