We Effect Palestine We Effect is a Swedish Non-Profit Organization. We believe empowering women is key to a world without poverty.

Our work in Palestine includes strengthening the institutional and business capacities of cooperatives in the West Bank and Gaza, supporting cooperative unions in becoming more efficient in providing service to their members, strengthening capacities of cooperatives in the West bank to produce adequate and high quality products, such as honey, traditional food, grape juice and vinegar.

تشرفنا بزيارة مؤسسة وي ايفكت السويدية في فلسطين المهندسة ليانا ناصر القائم بأعمال مدير مكتب فلسطين والمهندس مراد الحوساني منسق البرامج بالمؤسسة، حيث تباحث الطرفان بالتحديات التي تواجه تسويق منتجات التعاونيات والتجمعات والمشاريع النسوية وكيفية تجاوزها بالتعاون مع القطاع الخاص ، كما ناقش الطرفان امكانية التعاون المشترك في المستقبل القريب.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the challenges facing the marketing of products from cooperatives, community groups, and women-led enterprises, as well as ways to overcome these challenges through collaboration with the private sector. The discussions also explored opportunities for future cooperation and partnership in the near future.

During a meeting with ARIJ Director General Dr. Jad Isaac, Tubas Governor Ahmad Al-Asaad highlighted the growing challenges facing the agricultural sector in Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley. Dr. Isaac reaffirmed Tubas’ importance as Palestine’s food basket and presented ongoing efforts to strengthen agricultural resilience through sustainable development initiatives.

The meeting also highlighted the LIFT Palestine Programme, implemented by ARIJ in partnership with We Effect and the Ministry of Agriculture, with support from Swedish development assistance, to improve agricultural infrastructure and support farmers across the governorate
