تأسست اللجنة المحلية لتأهيل المعاقين بتاريخ 1/10/2001 وقد ولدت الفكرة من الحاجة الملحة لدى ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة و ذويهم ومن الصعوبات التي كانوا يعانوا منها في الحصول على أي خدمه من المؤسسات . كما انه خلال الانتفاضة الحالية ازداد عدد حالات الإعاقة لدى جميع فئات المجتمع ومن هذا المنطلق تم اعداد دراسة
احتياج لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة أظهرت اهمية إنشاء مركز يهتم ويرعى احتياجاتهم ومن خلال هذه الدراسة والمسح الميداني تبين أن هناك 375 شخص من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة و 76 جريح انتفاضه ،
An overview of the institution. The Local Committee for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled was established on 1/10/2001. The idea was born out of the urgent need of people with special needs and their families, and the difficulties they faced in obtaining any service from the institutions. Also, during the current uprising, the number of cases of disability increased among all segments of society, and from this point of view, a study was prepared for people with special needs, which showed the importance of establishing a center that cares and takes care of their needs. Through this study and field survey, it was found that there are 375 people with special needs and 76 wounded people in the uprising.

الأنشطة والبرامج الرئيسية التي تنفذها الجمعية :
* المسح الميداني للمعاقين ومعرفة أنواع إعاقتهم والمشاكل التي تواجههم.
* وحدة علاج النطق واللغة
* وحدة العلاج الطبيعي
*وحدة العلاج الوظيفي
*وحدة التربية الخاصة وصفوف التوحد
* التعديل المنزلي لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة .
* برنامج الأدوات المساعدة و الأجهزة لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
* عمل برامج ترفيهية لذوي الاحتياجات والفئات الأخرى من المجتمع المحلي بهدف الدمج والتفريغ النفسي.
* عقد ندوات ومحاضرات عن الإعاقة وأسبابها وطرق الوقاية منها وكيفية التعامل معها. The main activities and programs implemented by the association:
* Field survey of the disabled and knowledge of the types of their disabilities and the problems they face.
* Speech and language therapy unit
* Physiotherapy unit
* Occupational therapy unit
*Special Education Unit and Autism Classes
* Home modification for people with special needs.
* Program of utilities and devices for people with special needs.
* Creating recreational programs for people with needs and other groups of the local community with the aim of integrating and psychologically emptying.
* Holding seminars and lectures on disability, its causes, methods of prevention and how to deal with it.

اللجنة المحلية في مخيم العين هي مؤسسة غير ربحية تسعى الى تاهيل و توعية ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة و ذويهم والمجتمع المحلي من خلال توفير العديد من البرامج العلاجية والتأهيلية والتوعية لدمجهم و تفعيل دورهم في المجتمع. the message
The local committee in Al Ain camp is a non-profit organization that seeks to rehabilitate and educate people with special needs, their families and the local community by providing many therapeutic, rehabilitation and awareness programs to integrate them and activate their role in society.

الأهداف الاستراتجية
ستعمل المؤسسة ضمن مجموعة من الاهداف الاستراتجية والفرعية المرتبطة برؤية ورسالة الجمعية واستراتجيات عملها المرتبطة بالاولويات الرئيسية للفئات المستهدفة وذلك على النحو التالي:-
الهدف الاستراتيجي الاول : تأهيل و دمج ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في المجتمع المحلي
· تزويد الأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بالتجهيزات والأدوات المساعدة وموائمة البيئة الخاصة بهم.
· توفير البرامج العلاجية والتعليمية الخاصة بعلاج النطق والصعوبات التعليمية.
· توفير أنشطة تأهيلية لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة وذويهم.
· التربية الخاصة للحالات التي تحتاجها مثل التوحد ومتلازمة داون مثل العلاج الوظيفي والطبيعي والتاهيل بكافة اشكاله .
الهدف الاستراتيجي الثاني: التوعية والتثقيف المجتمعي وتعزيز المشاركة المجتمعية
· العمل على الكشف المبكر لحالات الإعاقة.
· رفع مستوى الوعي المجتمعي في مواضيع مجتمعية مختلفة.
الهدف الاستراتيجي الثالث): تعزيز البناء الداخلي للمركز.
· التوعية بالانظمة الداخلة وتطويرها.
· تطوير القدرات الادارية والتكلنولوجية الخاصة بالجمعية. Strategic goals
The Foundation will work within a set of strategic and sub-objectives related to the vision and mission of the association and its work strategies related to the main priorities of the target groups, as follows:-
The first strategic objective: Rehabilitation and integration of people with special needs in the local community
Providing people with special needs with equipment and auxiliary tools and adapting their environment. Providing therapeutic and educational programs for speech therapy and educational difficulties. Providing rehabilitation activities for people with special needs and their families. Special education for cases that need it, such as autism and Down syndrome, such as occupational and physical therapy and rehabilitation in all its forms. Strategic Objective Two: Awareness and community education and strengthening community participation
Work on early detection of disability cases. Raising the level of community awareness on various societal issues. The third strategic objective: Strengthening the internal structure of the center. Awareness and development of the internal systems. Develop the administrative and technological capabilities of the association.
