Yalu society was established in 2002 by a group of young community activists, who believe in social justice , equal opportunities. The aim of Yalu is developing and utilizing the full potential of the Palestinian society , promoting youth role in general and women in particular and encouraging them to play an active role in the development and change process. One of Yalu's main thrusts is to empow

er women ,youth and
the marginalized groups and encourage them to play an active role in the development and change process . Yalu society is managed by a director and by a director and by an administrative board consisted of 7 members (4 women and 2 men),whom are elected every 3 years by the general assembly which is consisted of 36 members (34 women and two men).
