جمعية الفجر الشبابي تعقد اجتماعاً تحضيرياً لإطلاق حملة كبرى لدعم النظافة في مدارس خانيونس
ضمن برنامج التعافي للعام 2026 عقدت جمعية الفجر الشبابي الفلسطيني اجتماعا تنسيقيا موسعا مع ممثلي 30 مدرسة ونقطة تعليمية في المناطق التي تستهدفها الجمعية وذلك في إطار التحضيرات لإطلاق حملة دعم خدمات النظافة والصرف الصحي ومكافحة نواقل الأمراض في المدارس والنقاط التعليمية بمحافظة خانيونس.
ويأتي هذا التدخل ضمن جهود الجمعية المتواصلة لتعزيز مرحلة التعافي المبكر، ودعم البيئة التعليمية والصحية في ظل التحديات الإنسانية المتفاقمة التي يواجهها قطاع غزة لا سيما في المدارس والخيام التعليمية المؤقتة.
وأكد الأستاذ صالح الأسطل رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية خلال الاجتماع أن الجمعية تولي قطاع التعليم أهمية خاصة ضمن برامجها الإنسانية والتنموية، إلى جانب قطاعات الصحة وتمكين المرأة، مشيرا إلى أن الحملة تهدف إلى تحسين الظروف الصحية والبيئية داخل المدارس والنقاط التعليمية بما يساهم في توفير بيئة أكثر أمانا وصحة للطلبة والمعلمين.
كما شدد على أهمية توحيد الجهود والتنسيق المباشر مع إدارات المدارس والجهات الشريكة لضمان تنفيذ تدخلات فعالة تستجيب للاحتياجات الفعلية خاصة في مجالات المياه والإصحاح البيئي وخدمات النظافة.
من جهته استعرض المهندس محمد القدرة مدير المشاريع والبرامج في الجمعية، الخطة التصورية للحملة وعرضها على الشركاء المانحين موضحا أنها ستتضمن مسارين رئيسيين:
مسار توعوي يستهدف تعزيز الوعي الصحي والسلوكيات الوقائية بين الطلبة والمعلمين،
ومسار إغاثي يشمل تدخلات المياه والإصحاح البيئي (WASH) وتوزيع أدوات ومواد النظافة والطرود الصحية على المدارس والنقاط التعليمية المستهدفة.
وأكدت الجمعية خلال الاجتماع على أهمية التعاون مع إدارات المدارس في تسهيل تنفيذ الأنشطة الميدانية، وتعزيز ثقافة الحفاظ على المرافق والمعدات لضمان استدامة الخدمات المقدمة.
واختُتم الاجتماع بجملة من التوصيات والإجراءات العملية أبرزها توحيد نماذج حصر الاحتياجات بين المدارس، وإجراء تقييمات دقيقة للاحتياجات المتعلقة بالمياه والإصحاح البيئي والنظافة بما يساهم في توجيه التدخلات بصورة أكثر كفاءة وفاعلية.
AlFajr Youth Association holds a preparatory meeting to launch a major campaign to support cleanliness in Khan Yunis schools
As part of the 2026 Early Recovery Program
Alfajr Palestinian Youth Association held an expanded coordination meeting with representatives of 30 schools and educational points within the areas targeted by the association, as part of the preparations for launching a campaign to support cleaning services, sanitation, and vector control in schools and educational facilities across Khan Younis Governorate.
This intervention comes within the association’s ongoing efforts to promote early recovery and support the educational and public health environment amid the escalating humanitarian challenges facing the Gaza Strip, particularly in schools and temporary learning spaces.
During the meeting, Mr. Saleh Al-Astal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the association, emphasized that the education sector remains a key priority within the association’s humanitarian and development programs, alongside health and women’s empowerment initiatives. He noted that the campaign aims to improve health and environmental conditions in schools and educational points, contributing to a safer and healthier environment for both students and teachers.
He further stressed the importance of unified efforts and direct coordination with school administrations and partner organizations to ensure effective interventions that respond to actual needs, particularly in the areas of water, sanitation, environmental health, and cleaning services.
For his part, Eng. Mohammad Al-Qudra, Projects and Programs Manager at the association, presented the campaign’s conceptual framework and shared it with donor partners, explaining that the initiative will include two main tracks:
An awareness-raising component aimed at promoting health awareness and preventive behaviors among students and teachers.
A humanitarian response component that includes Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) interventions, as well as the distribution of hygiene kits, cleaning materials, and health parcels to targeted schools and educational points.
The association also emphasized the importance of cooperation with school administrations in facilitating field activities and promoting a culture of preserving facilities and equipment to ensure the sustainability of the provided services.
The meeting concluded with a set of practical recommendations and action points, most notably the unification of needs assessment templates among schools and the implementation of accurate assessments related to water, sanitation, environmental health, and hygiene needs, in order to guide interventions more efficiently and effectively.
