في اليوم الدولي لضحايا العدوان من الأطفال الأبرياء، نقف أمام حقيقة مؤلمة: آلاف الأطفال الفلسطينيين حُرموا من حقهم في طفولة آمنة 📢
في فلسطين، وخاصة في قطاع غزة وفي جنين وطولكرم، لم تعد معاناة الأطفال أرقامًا وإحصائيات، بل واقعًا يوميًا يعيشه الأطفال من خلال النزوح، وفقدان أفراد الأسرة، وتدمير المنازل والمدارس، والحرمان من التعليم والرعاية الصحية والحماية.
وفي هذا اليوم، تجدد مؤسسة مجتمعات محلية التزامها بحماية الأطفال وتعزيز حقوقهم من خلال مشروع "تعزيز وحماية حقوق الأطفال في النزاع المسلح في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة"، الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي والمنفذ من قبل Terre des Hommes Italy بالشراكة مع مؤسسة مجتمعات محلية وجمعية عايشة لحماية المرأة والطفل.
وفي شمال الضفة الغربية، تعمل المؤسسة بالشراكة مع جمعية مدرسة الأمهات ومركز واصل لتنمية الشباب وجمعية النجدة الاجتماعية على توفير خدمات الحماية والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي للأطفال والأسر، وتعزيز آليات الحماية المجتمعية لضمان بيئة أكثر أمانًا وكرامة للأطفال.
إن حماية الأطفال ليست خيارًا، بل واجب إنساني وأخلاقي. فلكل طفل الحق في أن يعيش طفولته بعيدًا عن الخوف والعنف والنزوح، وأن ينمو في بيئة آمنة تحفظ كرامته وحقوقه.
معًا من أجل حماية الأطفال، واستعادة حقهم في طفولة آمنة وكريمة.
On the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, we are reminded of a painful reality: thousands of Palestinian children have been deprived of their right to a safe childhood.
In Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip، jenin , and Tulkarem, children's suffering is not merely a statistic. It is a daily reality marked by displacement, loss of family members, destruction of homes and schools, and deprivation of education, healthcare, and protection.
On this occasion, Local Communities Organization (LCO) reaffirms its commitment to protecting children and promoting their rights through the project "Promoting and Protecting Children's Rights in Armed Conflict in the West Bank and Gaza", funded by the European Union and implemented by Terre des Hommes Italy in partnership with Local Communities Organization and AISHA Association for Woman and Child Protection.
In the North West Bank, LCO works alongside Mother School Society, Wassel Center for Youth Development, and Annajadiah Palestinian Women's Development Society to provide child protection services, psychosocial support, and community-based protection mechanisms that help create safer and more supportive environments for children and their families.
Protecting children is not a choice—it is a humanitarian and moral obligation. Every child has the right to live free from fear, violence, and displacement, and to grow up in a safe environment that preserves their dignity and fundamental rights.
Together, we can help protect children and restore their right to a safe and dignified childhood.
