When it comes to waiting for water, the camps in Gaza are well practiced. Even before we arrive with the water truck, they are already lined up and ready. With 534 families and approximately 2,937 displaced Palestinians, they come running out of their tents for what’s needed most: water.
As you can see, the containers they use to collect water are whatever they have. Some are cracked, some have holes, yet whether it’s a bottle, a bowl, or whatever, they are grateful to receive clean water.
Through our partnership with A Ripple , we transform this wait into a moment of hope, making every drop a tangible act of solidarity and aid.

عندما يتعلق الأمر بانتظار الماء، فإنّ مخيمات غزة متمرسةٌ في ذلك. حتى قبل وصولنا بشاحنة المياه، يكونون قد اصطفوا وجاهزون. مع وجود 534 عائلة ونحو 2937 فلسطينيًا نازحًا، يخرجون مسرعين من خيامهم للحصول على ما هم في أمسّ الحاجة إليه: الماء.
كما ترون، فإنّ الأوعية التي يستخدمونها لجمع الماء هي ما هو متوفر لديهم. بعضها متصدع، وبعضها مثقوب، ولكن سواءً أكانت زجاجةً أو وعاءً أو أي شيء آخر، فهم ممتنون لحصولهم على الماء النظيف.
