تواصل بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية دعمها للأنشطة التي تسهم في تعافي المجتمع والتخفيف من الضغوطات النفسية التي يعاني منها الأطفال وأسرهم المتضررين من الحرب والنزوح.
اليوم وفي مخيم دار الرجاء للأيتام في الزوايدة، وبالتعاون مع وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية، نفذت بال ثينك يوما ترفيهيا لأطفال المخيم ، من خلال أنشطة تفاعلية متنوعة شارك فيها 200 طفل من المخيم، في إطار السعي إلى توفير مساحات داعمة للأطفال تساعدهم على استعادة جزء من حياتهم اليومية، وتعزز اندماجهم وتفاعلهم الاجتماعي في ظل الظروف الاستثنائية التي يعيشها قطاع غزة. كما أتاحت الأنشطة للأطفال فرصة للمشاركة والتفاعل ضمن أجواء إيجابية تسهم في تنمية روح التعاون وبث مشاعر الأمل والطمأنينة لديهم.
وشهد اليوم الترفيهي تفاعلاً واسعاً من الأطفال، بما يعكس أهمية استمرار المبادرات المجتمعية التي تستهدف الفئات الأكثر تأثراً، وتسهم في تعزيز الجوانب النفسية والاجتماعية للأطفال في بيئات النزوح.
Pal-Think for Strategic Studies continues its support for activities that contribute to community recovery and help alleviate the psychological pressures experienced by children and their families affected by war and displacement.
Today, at Dar Al-Raja Camp for Orphans in Al- Zawayda in the Middle Area, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development, Pal-Think organized a recreational day for the camp’s children through a variety of interactive activities attended by 200 children from the camp. This initiative comes within efforts to provide supportive spaces for children that help them regain part of their daily lives and enhance their social interaction and engagement amid the exceptional circumstances facing the Gaza Strip. The activities also provided children with opportunities to participate and interact in a positive atmosphere that fosters cooperation and promotes feelings of hope and reassurance.
The recreational day witnessed wide engagement from the children, reflecting the importance of continuing community initiatives targeting the most affected groups and contributing to strengthening the psychological and social well-being of children in displacement areas

يواصل فريق بال ثينك الشبابي تنفيذ اللقاءات التوعوية مستهدفين أقرانهم الشباب في كل مناطق قطاع غزة، لنقل المعرفة حول آليات السلم الأهلي والمشاركة الايجابية الفاعلة.
وبالتعاون مع جمعية التأهيل والتدريب المجتمعي في النصيرات، نفذ المدربان الشابان محمد النجار،وأزهار الكحلوت، لقاءا بعنوان " الشباب والسلم الأهلي في دعم الانتخابات" حيث يلعب الشباب دورًا محوريًا في تعزيز دعم العمليات الديمقراطية خلال الانتخابات، كما تسهم مشاركتهم الفاعلة في ترسيخ ثقافة الحوار والتسامح وتقبل الآراء المختلفة، والحد من التوترات ومنع النزاعات داخل المجتمع، وبالتالي المساهمة في تعزيز الشفافية وتشجيع المشاركة السلمية وتعزيز الثقة بالعملية الانتخابية.
تأتي هذه الأنشطة ضمن مشروع "تمكين الشباب الفلسطيني للمشاركة في الانتخابات واحترام التعددية" الذي تنفذه بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية بالشراكة مع القنصلية العامة الفرنسية في القدس

Pal-Think Youth Team continues implementing awareness sessions targeting their youth peers across all areas of the Gaza Strip to transfer knowledge on social peace mechanisms and positive civic engagement.
In cooperation with the Community Rehabilitation and Training Association in Nuseirat, the young trainers Mohammed Al-Najjar and Azhar Al-Kahlout conducted an awareness session entitled “Youth and Social Peace in Supporting Elections.” The session highlighted the pivotal role of youth in supporting democratic processes during elections, emphasizing how their active participation contributes to promoting a culture of dialogue, tolerance, and acceptance of diverse opinions, while reducing tensions and preventing conflicts within society. The session also focused on the role of youth in strengthening transparency, encouraging peaceful participation, and enhancing trust in the electoral process.
These activities are implemented as part of the project “Shared Vision for Democracy, Peace, and Prosperity", carried out by Pal-Think for Strategic Studies in partnership with the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem.

تدريب عملي بعنوان "مهارات الإلقاء وتصميم المبادرات"، وبحضور 20 متدربًا/ة من محافظات دير البلح وخانيونس ورفح، ضمن اليوم السابع والختامي من الجولة الثانية للبرنامج التدريبي، مع د. رناد الحلو ود. محمود عساف.

ركّز التدريب على التطبيق العملي لمهارات الإلقاء والتقديم، إلى جانب تطوير أفكار المبادرات المجتمعية وتحويلها إلى تدخلات قابلة للتنفيذ. كما تناول التدريب آليات عرض الأفكار بثقة ووضوح، والتواصل الفعّال مع الجمهور، وربط المبادرات باحتياجات المجتمع المحلي وأولوياته، بما يعزز قدرة المشاركين على قيادة مبادرات شبابية تسهم في دعم السلم الأهلي والتماسك المجتمعي.

ويأتي هذا التدريب في ختام الجولة الثانية من برنامج “أكاديمية القيادة الشبابية للديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان: مواجهة خطاب الكراهية وتعزيز السلم الأهلي في غزة”، الذي تنفذه بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية بدعم معهد العلاقات الخارجية الألماني ifa zivik.

The practical training titled “Presentation Skills and Initiative Design”, attended by 20 male and female trainees from Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah governorates, was delivered by Dr. Renad Al-Hello and Dr. Mahmoud Assaf as part of the seventh and final training day of the second round of the training program.

The session focused on the practical application of presentation and delivery skills, alongside developing community initiative ideas and transforming them into implementable interventions. It also addressed mechanisms for presenting ideas with confidence and clarity, communicating effectively with audiences, and linking initiatives to local community needs and priorities, thereby strengthening participants’ capacities to lead youth initiatives that contribute to civil peace and social cohesion.

This training comes at the conclusion of the second round of the program “Youth Leadership Academy for Democracy and Human Rights: Countering Hate Speech and Promoting Civil Peace in Gaza,” implemented by PalThink for Strategic Studies, supported by the German Federal Foreign Office’s funds through ifa’s Funding Programme zivik.

تدريب "مهارات الإلقاء والتيسير"، وبحضور 20 متدربًا ومتدربة من محافظات دير البلح وخانيونس ورفح، ضمن اليوم التدريبي السادس من برنامج سفراء السلم الأهلي، مع د. رناد الحلو، ناقش فيه مهارات الإلقاء الفعّال وأساليب التيسير الناجح للجلسات واللقاءات المجتمعية.

وتناول التدريب أهمية التواصل الواضح، وتنظيم الأفكار، وإدارة النقاشات بطريقة تفاعلية تشجع على المشاركة وتبادل الآراء. كما ركّز التدريب على مهارات التعامل مع الجمهور، وبناء الثقة أثناء العرض، واستخدام أدوات التيسير التي تساعد المشاركين على إدارة جلسات حوارية بناءة تسهم في تعزيز السلم الأهلي والتماسك المجتمعي.

ويأتي هذا التدريب ضمن برنامج “أكاديمية القيادة الشبابية للديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان: مواجهة خطاب الكراهية وتعزيز السلم الأهلي في غزة”، الذي تنفذه بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية بدعم معهد العلاقات الخارجية الألماني ifa zivik.

The training titled “Presentation and Facilitation Skills”, attended by 20 male and female trainees from Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah governorates, was delivered by Dr. Renad Al-Hello as part of the sixth training day of the Civil Peace Ambassadors Program.

The session addressed effective presentation skills and successful facilitation methods for community sessions and meetings. It also covered the importance of clear communication, organizing ideas, and managing discussions in an interactive way that encourages participation and exchange of views.

The training further focused on audience engagement, building confidence during presentations, and using facilitation tools that enable participants to lead constructive dialogue sessions contributing to civil peace and social cohesion.

من أنشطة الورشات التوعوية التي ينفذها فريق بال ثينك الشبابي في قطاع غزة لنقل المعرفة حول السلم الأهلي والمشاركة الايجابية الفاعلة، لأقرانهم في كافة مناطق قطاع غزة.
لقاء اليوم بالتعاون مع جمعية العطاء الخيرية في غزة، نفذ اللقاء المدربتان الشابتان ملاك عطالله ،وندى أبو هويدي
بعنوان "تعزيز دور الشباب في اعادة الاعمار والمشاركة السياسية"، حيث دار اللقاء حول إشراك الشباب في جهود إعادة الإعمار ودوره في دعم التعافي المجتمعي من خلال مشاركتهم في المبادرات المجتمعية، والأنشطة التطوعية، وصناعة الحلول التي تستجيب لاحتياجات المجتمع. كما أن تعزيز مشاركتهم السياسية يرسخ قيم المواطنة الفاعلة، ويمنحهم مساحة للتأثير في صنع القرار والمساهمة في صياغة السياسات العامة.

From the awareness activities implemented by Pal-Think youth team in Gaza Strip to transfer knowledge on civil peace and positive, active participation to their peers across all areas of Gaza, today’s session was held in cooperation with Al-Ataa Charitable Association in Gaza. The session was facilitated by young trainers Malak Attallah and Nada Abu Hweidi.
The session, titled “Enhancing the Role of Youth in Reconstruction and Political Participation,” focused on engaging young people in reconstruction efforts and their role in supporting community recovery through participation in community initiatives, volunteer activities, and developing solutions that respond to community needs. It also highlighted how strengthening youth political participation reinforces the values of active citizenship, provides space for influencing decision-making processes, and contributes to shaping public policies.
These activities are implemented as part of the project “Shared Vision for Democracy, Peace, and Prosperity", carried out by Pal-Think for Strategic Studies in partnership with the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem

تدريب "تصميم المبادرات والموازنة المالية"، وبحضور 20 متدربًا ومتدربة من محافظات دير البلح وخانيونس ورفح، ضمن اليوم التدريبي الخامس من الجولة الثانية لبرنامج إعداد المدربين (T o T)، مع د. محمود عساف، ناقش فيه آليات تصميم المبادرات المجتمعية وتطوير أفكارها بصورة عملية قابلة للتنفيذ، انطلاقًا من احتياجات المجتمع المحلي وأولوياته.

وتناول التدريب خطوات إعداد المبادرات، بدءًا من تحديد المشكلة والفئات المستهدفة، مرورًا بصياغة الأهداف والأنشطة والنتائج المتوقعة، وصولًا إلى إعداد الموازنة المالية وتقدير الاحتياجات والموارد اللازمة للتنفيذ. كما ركّز التدريب على أهمية التخطيط الواقعي للمبادرات، وربط الأنشطة بالميزانية، بما يعزز قدرة المشاركين على تطوير مبادرات شبابية قابلة للتطبيق وتستجيب للتحديات المجتمعية الراهنة.

The training titled “Initiative Design and Financial Budgeting”, attended by 20 male and female trainees from Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah governorates, was delivered by Dr. Mahmoud Assaf as part of the fifth training day of the second round of the Training of Trainers (T o T) program.

The session addressed mechanisms for designing community initiatives and developing their ideas in a practical and implementable manner, based on local community needs and priorities. The training also covered the key steps of preparing initiatives, starting from identifying the problem and target groups, to formulating objectives, activities, and expected results, and preparing the financial budget by estimating the needs and resources required for implementation.

The training further emphasized the importance of realistic planning, linking activities to budgets, and strengthening participants’ capacities to develop youth-led initiatives that are applicable and responsive to current community challenges.

تدريب "الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان"، وبحضور 20 متدربًا ومتدربة من محافظات دير البلح وخانيونس ورفح، ضمن اليوم التدريبي الرابع من الجولة الثانية لبرنامج إعداد المدربين (T o T)، مع د. محمد التلباني، ناقش فيه مفاهيم الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان، وأهمية تعزيز الوعي بها في دعم المشاركة المدنية والسلم الأهلي.

وتناول التدريب المبادئ الأساسية لحقوق الإنسان، وعلاقتها بقيم المواطنة والمساواة واحترام التعددية، إلى جانب دور الديمقراطية في تعزيز الحوار والمساءلة والمشاركة المجتمعية. كما ركّز التدريب على أهمية تمكين الشباب من فهم حقوقهم ومسؤولياتهم، بما يعزز قدرتهم على المساهمة في بناء بيئة مجتمعية أكثر احترامًا للكرامة الإنسانية والتماسك المجتمعي.

The training titled “Democracy and Human Rights”, attended by 20 male and female trainees from Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah governorates, was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Al-Telbani as part of the fourth training day of the second round of the Training of Trainers (T o T) program.

The session addressed the concepts of democracy and human rights, and the importance of promoting awareness of these principles in supporting civic participation and civil peace. The training also covered the basic principles of human rights and their relationship to citizenship, equality, and respect for diversity, in addition to the role of democracy in promoting dialogue, accountability, and community participation.

The training further emphasized the importance of enabling young people to understand their rights and responsibilities, strengthening their ability to contribute to building a community environment that respects human dignity and promotes social cohesion.

إصدار جديد من بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية بعنوان:
" شروط نشوء أحزاب سياسية جديدة في فلسطين بعد الحرب: من الفراغ التمثيلي إلى إعادة تأسيس المجال السياسي"
تذهب هذه الورقة إلى أن نشوء أحزاب فلسطينية جديدة بعد الحرب لا يتوقف على فتح باب التسجيل أو إجراء انتخابات منفردة، وإنما على بناء ممر سياسي متكامل: قانون ضامن، حريات عامة، مسار انتخابي تدريجي، مدنية واضحة للتنظيم الحزبي، استقلال مالي، وقاعدة اجتماعية تشمل غزة والضفة والقدس والشتات. تعالج الورقة الخلط بين الحزب والقائمة والمبادرة ، وتقرأ انتخابات دير البلح المحلية كإشارة مزدوجة: إمكانية عودة الصندوق حتى في بيئة مدمرة، وحدود الثقة حين تجري السياسة وسط النزوح وانهيار الخدمات. كما توسع الورقة تحليل السيناريوهات الممكنة لنشوء أحزاب جديدة، من الإصلاح الداخلي إلى الأحزاب الشبابية والمدنية، وتحول المبادرات المستقلة، والمسارات البلدية. وتخلص إلى أربع توصيات مركزة تجعل الحزب الجديد مؤسسة قابلة للمساءلة لا اسماً إضافياً في خريطة مأزومة.

New Publication by Pal-Think for Strategic Studies: " Conditions for the Emergence of New Political Parties in Palestine After the War: From the Representational Vacuum to the Reconstitution of the Political Field
This paper argues that the emergence of new Palestinian parties after the war does not depend solely on opening party registration or holding elections, but on building a comprehensive political pathway: a guaranteeing law, public freedoms, a gradual electoral track, a clear civilian framework for party organization, financial independence, and a social base encompassing Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the diaspora. The paper addresses the conflation of parties with electoral lists, initiatives, and armed groups, and reads the Deir al-Balah local elections as a dual signal: the possibility of the ballot box returning even in a devastated environment, and the limits of trust when politics unfolds amid displacement and service collapse. The paper also expands the scenario analysis of possible pathways for new party formation, from internal reform to youth and civic parties, the transformation of independent initiatives, and municipal pathways. It concludes with four focused recommendations to make the new party an accountable institution rather than another name on a crisis-ridden map.
