Burn With Her
O Allah, bring coolness and peace upon Algeria and its people—our brothers and sisters who have always carried Palestine in their hearts, keeping Jerusalem in their conscience and Gaza in their voices and solidarity.
From Gaza, a land that knows the meaning of fire—where homes have burned and children and women have endured the flames of bombardment—we understand the terror of seeing fire approach homes, families, and land. That is why the fires in Algeria hurt us as though their flames were reaching our own hearts.
People of Algeria, as you stood beside us in our pain, we stand beside you today in yours. As you raised Palestine in your streets, squares, and hearts, we raise our hands from Gaza in prayer for you.
Algeria's historic words remain engraved in our memory: “We are with Palestine, right or wrong.” They embody a deep and enduring love for Palestine, reminding us that between Gaza and Algeria, distance exists only on the map, never in the heart.
May God protect Algeria, the land of love for Palestine, extinguish its fires, show mercy to those affected, protect its people, homes, and land, and safeguard the firefighters, rescue teams, and everyone confronting the flames.
From Gaza to Algeria: your pain is our pain, our prayers are with you, and your solidarity with Palestine is a bond we will never forget.
