بالتعاون مع جمعية أمجاد للابداع والتطوير المجتمعي نفذت بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية في مدينة غزة ورشة عمل بعنوان “حقوق المرأة وانتهاكها في ظل الحرب". أدارالورشة المدربة ايمان عمر والمدرب احمد السرحي، من فريق بال ثينك الشبابي، وبحضور مجموعة من الخريجين والخريجات.
تناولت الورشة التعريف بمفهوم حقوق الانسان، وحقوق المرأة كجزء لا يتجزأ من منظومة حقوق الانسان، و الاطار القانوني الدولي لحماية المرأة في النزاعات المسلحة، والنقاش حول انماط الانتهاكات الجسيمة ضد المرأة الفلسطينية خلال الحرب بما فيها الانتهاكات الاقتصادية ولاجتماعية، وتأثير ذلك على الأوضاع النفسية والاجتماعية للنساء في غزة، وبالتالي على الأسرة والمجتمع كله، كما تناقش الحضور والمدربان حول أهم آليات دعم المرأة والتصدي لتلك الانتهاكات وأهمها دعم مؤسسات المجتمع المدني للمرأة في كل المجالات ونشر الوعي حول حقوقها .
تأتي هذه الورشة ضمن سلسلة فعاليات تنفذها بال ثينك من خلال فريق شبابي ضمن مشروع “سويتش – تحويل مبادئ حقوق الإنسان والديمقراطية إلى حياة وممارسات يومية لسكان غزة"، وبالتعاون مع الاتحاد الاوروبي.
Women's Rights and Violations in Time of War
Pal-Think for Strategic Studies, in cooperation with Amjad Association for Creativity and Community Development in Gaza City, conducted a workshop entitled "Women's Rights and Violations in the time of War." The workshop was led by trainers Iman Omar and Ahmed AlSarhi, from Pal-Think Youth Team, and attended by a group of male and female graduates.
The workshop addressed the concepts and principles of human rights, and women’s rights as an integral part of the human rights system, besides, the international legal framework for the protection of women in armed conflict. It also discussed the gross violations against Palestinian women during the war, including economic and social violations, and the impact of this on the psychological and social conditions of women in Gaza, and consequently on the family and society as a whole.
The attendees and the trainers also discussed the most important mechanisms to support women and confronting these violations, most notably the support of civil society institutions for women in all fields and raising awareness about their rights.
This workshop is part of a series of activities implemented by Pal-Think through a youth team within project " SWITCH: Turning the Principles of Human Rights and Democracy into Everyday Life and Practices for the People of Gaza “, in cooperation with the European Union.
