📢 New Procurement Opportunities!

The Palestinian Information and Communications Technology Incubator (PICTI), under the EUSEEDS Project and co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, has launched six Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to equip university innovation centers in Palestine.

As part of the EUSEEDS project co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, PICTI conducted field visits with the technical consultant to five universities in the West Bank to validate the needs of the selected university centers and support the next steps toward equipping them.
The visits covered Hebron University, An-Najah National University, Bethlehem University, Al-Quds Open University, and Al-Quds University.
These visits provided an important opportunity to meet with university teams, review the centers’ current capacities, understand their technical and operational needs, and ensure that the planned equipment responds to each center’s actual context and priorities.
This step marks important progress in preparing the university centers to better support students, graduates, and surrounding communities through employability, digital skills, and entrepreneurship-related services.
We thank the participating universities for their cooperation and engagement, and we look forward to continuing the next phase of implementation.

ضمن مشروع EUSEEDS المموَّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي في إطار برنامج Interreg NEXT MED، نفذت بيكتي زيارات ميدانية بالتعاون مع المستشار التقني إلى خمس جامعات في الضفة الغربية، وذلك بهدف التحقق من احتياجات المراكز الجامعية المختارة والمضي قدماً في خطوات تجهيزها.



وشملت الزيارات كلاً من: جامعة الخليل، جامعة النجاح الوطنية، جامعة بيت لحم، جامعة القدس المفتوحة، وجامعة القدس.



شكّلت هذه الزيارات فرصة مهمة للقاء فرق الجامعات، والاطلاع على واقع المراكز واحتياجاتها الفنية والتشغيلية، بما يضمن أن تكون عملية التجهيز مبنية على احتياجات فعلية وتدعم قدرات المراكز في تقديم خدمات مرتبطة بالتوظيف، والمهارات الرقمية، وريادة الأعمال.



نشكر الجامعات المشاركة على تعاونها وتفاعلها، ونتطلع إلى استكمال المراحل القادمة من التنفيذ.

🚀 Call for Tenders: EUSEEDS Digital Platform

The Palestine Information and Communications Technology Incubator (PICTI) announces a Call for Tenders for the Design, Development, and Implementation of the EUSEEDS Digital Platform — a cloud-based Learning Management and Collaboration Platform.

The platform will support youth across the Eastern Mediterranean through training in employability, digital skills, entrepreneurship, and AI & emerging technologies.

المجلس الأعلى للشباب والرياضة و"بيكتي" و"إنترتك" يوقعون اتفاقية لتطوير حل رقمي لدعم مشاركة الشباب
رام الله، 30 حزيران 2025 – في إطار جهود حاضنة فلسطين لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات (PICTI)، وضمن خطة عملها الاستراتيجية الهادفة إلى تمكين الشباب وتعزيز الشفافية من خلال الحلول الرقمية، تم توقيع اتفاقية لتطوير حل رقمي تفاعلي، وذلك في مقر المجلس الأعلى للشباب والرياضة بمدينة رام الله، ضمن مشروع "Youth Tech: for Transparency; From Ideas to Impact" الذي تنفذه PICTI بالشراكة مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP/PAPP)، وبدعم من وزارة الخارجية البريطانية (FCDO) والحكومة السويدية.

ويمثل المشروع خطوة عملية في إطار جهود PICTI المستمرة لتوسيع استخدام التكنولوجيا في خدمة المشاركة المجتمعية، وتعزيز حضور الشباب في مساحات التأثير وصنع القرار على المستوى الوطني.

وجرى توقيع الاتفاقية بحضور معالي الوزيرعصام قادومي، الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للشباب والرياضة، والسيد تامر البرانسي، رئيس مجلس إدارة PICTI، والسيد علاء علاء الدين، المدير التنفيذي لشركة إنترتك، والسيد منذر مسالمة، وكيل المجلس الأعلى للشباب والرياضة، إلى جانب ممثلين عن UNDP/PAPP وكافة الشركاء في تنفيذ المشروع.

ويهدف الحل الرقمي إلى تعزيز قنوات الاتصال بين الشباب والمؤسسات ذات العلاقة، وتوفير بيانات دقيقة تدعم تطوير سياسات شبابية أكثر فعالية وشمولًا. ومن المتوقع أن يُشكل هذا الحل نقلة نوعية في آليات تفاعل الشباب مع البرامج الوطنية والمبادرات العامة.

ويعكس المشروع نموذجًا تكامليًا للتعاون بين القطاع الحكومي، والخاص، والمجتمع المدني، والمؤسسات الدولية، بما يساهم في تعزيز الحوكمة الرقمية وترسيخ مبادئ الشفافية والابتكار في فلسطين.

We are excited to share that all three startups coached by PICTI under the Support Agri-Food Coop Network in Palestine (SANET) program have successfully advanced to the next stage of their entrepreneurial journey! 🎉

🌱 Earth Wise for Green Technology: Led by Jabra Dukmak, this innovative startup created the "Laheq Halak" app, which connects vendors with surplus food to consumers at discounted rates. By reducing food waste and promoting sustainability, Earth Wise is making a meaningful impact on food security and environmental conservation in Palestine.

🐝 Zero: Founded by Abd alrahman Barham, Zero is transforming the beekeeping industry with 3D-printed eco-friendly beehives made from recycled materials. These hives, equipped with GPS and environmental sensors, are setting a new standard for sustainability and innovation in honey production.

🌿 Green Rock: Led by Husam Hamdi, Green Rock converts stone, marble, and olive waste into organic fertilizers, providing a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers. This initiative supports environmental health while contributing to sustainable agricultural practices in Palestine.

Over the past months, these startups have embarked on a transformative journey, which focuses on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the Palestinian agri-food sector. Through tailored coaching, capacity-building sessions, and strategic support, the startups have overcome challenges, refined their business models, and positioned themselves for sustainable growth.

We look forward to the continued success of Earth Wise for Green Technology, Zero, and Green Rock as they inspire positive change in their fields and beyond! 🌍✨

PICTI, in collaboration with the Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association – Asala, is launching the “Women in Tech: Digital Empowerment Contest” to support Palestinian women entrepreneurs in developing digital solutions that address social and economic challenges.
