جمعية شمس الحرية منظمة غير حكومية تهدف لحماية وتمكين النساء والأطفال، تأسست عام 1995 ومقرها الرئيسي غزة-المحافظة الوسطى (مدينة دير البلح).

رؤية الجمعية:
نطمح بإرادة قوية لأن نكون جمعية قيادية في مجال تنمية الأسرة الفلسطينية بشكل يساهم في تحقيق تنمية مستدامة في فلسطين، على أسس ديمقراطية.

جمعية شمس الحرية جمعية تنموية تعمل على تنمية الأسرة الفلسطينية- المراة، الشباب، الطفل، وذلك م

ن خلال تحديد منهجي لاحتياجات الأسرة والعمل على تمكين وتأهيل المرأة والشباب وتقديم الرعاية التعليمية والصحية والنفسية للأطفال، وبناء قدرات المؤسسة للاستفادة القصوى من مصادر التمويل المتاحة للمساهمة في بناء مجتمع تسوده العدالة الاجتماعية.

القضايا الاستراتيجية:
-التطوير والبناء المؤسساتي: ( الأوضاع الإدارية والمالية وتنمية القدرات البشرية والمؤسساتية).
-تعزيز دور المرأة: (تمكين المرأة اقتصادياً واجتماعياً ومهنياً وثقافياً ونفسياً).
-الطفل: (تنمية وتطوير مهارات وقدرات الطفل وخلق بيئة مستقرة وآمنة والاعتناء به من جميع النواحي التعليمية والنفسية والصحية).
-الشباب: (بناء قدرات وتبني مبادرات وتوفير فرص عمل).
