Youth Influencers for Change Project (YIC) aims to ensure full, free, and dynamic youth participation in the process of decision making through using the varied social networking sites. Youth Influencers for Change Project (YIC), which is being implemented by Youth Vision Society-Gaza, endeavors to ensure full, free, and dynamic youth participation in the process of decision making through using t
he varied social networking sites. YIC aims to reduce discrimination and violations in light of International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR). Then, it commences with establishing the Youth for Rights Forum (YRF). Next, the project will launch Democracy, Influence, Leadership School for Training to build the capacities of the 25 selected beneficiaries in the field of ICCPR and ICESCR, democratic influence, advocacy mechanisms and their digital tools. After that, youth influencers are expected to dynamically use the varied social networking sites to raise their peers' awareness of the discrimination and violations that are being perpetrated against their rights as Palestinian youth. In addition, they will conduct initiatives and advocacy campaigns that aim to represent Palestinian youths before decision makers and bolster their role to be engaged in monitoring human rights violations that are related to the ICCPR and ICESCR.
يهدف مشروع "شباب مؤثرون من أجل التغيير" الذي تنفذه مؤسسة رؤية شبابية إلى ضمان مشاركة الشباب المؤثرين على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بشكل كامل وفعّال وحر وديناميكي في عملية صنع القرار وذلك للحد من التمييز والانتهاكات ضد حقوق الإنسان الأساسية المتعلقة بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية. سيقوم المشروع بإنشاء منتدى الحقوق للشباب (YRF) ويبدأ بعد ذلك باختيار 25 من الشباب المؤثرين على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ومن ثم يقوم ببناء قدراتهم ورفع وعيهم في مجال الحقوق والمشاركة السياسية والمجتمعية مع التركيز على العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، والتأثير الديمقراطي وأدواته الرقمية. بعد ذلك، سيستخدم المؤثرون على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي منصات التواصل الاجتماعي بشكل فعال لرفع وعي أقرانهم بالانتهاكات والتمييز ضد حقوقهم وتمثيلهم لدى صانعي القرار من خلال مبادرات وحملات المناصرة التي سيقومون بها. وتمكين دورهم ليكونوا أكثر انخراطًا في مراقبة الالتزام الفلسطيني بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.
