يسعدنا في جمعية مركز الإرشاد والتدريب للطفل والأسرة - بيت لحم أن نشارككم نجاح الفعالية الختامية لمشروع "تحسين الصحة النفسية للأطفال المقيمين في دور رعاية الأيتام في بيت لحم والضفة الغربية"، والذي نُفذ بالشراكة والتعاون مع وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية وبيوت رعاية الأيتام في الضفة الغربية، وبمشاركة واسعة من إداريي المؤسسات الحكومية والأهلية والأخصائيين والعاملين في قطاع الرعاية.
افتُتحت الفعالية بكلمة الأستاذة مريم عوض رئيسة مجلس إدارة جمعية مركز الإرشاد والتدريب للطفل والأسرة، تلتها كلمة وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية ألقتها الأستاذة لبنى عيسى، ثم عرض فيديو "ليسوا أرقاماً: حياة الأيتام في فلسطين"، وكلمة ممثلي دور الرعاية ألقتها الأستاذة شيرين الماني، المديرة الإدارية لجمعية أصدقاء دار الأيتام الإسلامية- سكن الزهراء لليتيمات في العيزرية، كما تم عرض حملة "صوت الأيتام" بالتعاون مع مش ثيرابي، بالإضافة إلى عرض البحث ونتائج الدراسة ومناقشة أبرز التوصيات التي خرجت بها.
وقد ركزت الدراسة على تقويم أدوات وطرق تقييم احتياجات الأطفال الأيتام في الضفة الغربية من منظور الإداريين والأخصائيين الاجتماعيين والنفسيين في بيوت الرعاية، حيث أكدت النتائج أهمية تعزيز برامج الدعم النفسي والتنظيم العاطفي للأطفال، وتطوير أدوات تقييم موحدة ومقننة، ودعم الكوادر العاملة من خلال الإشراف النفسي والمهني المستمر، ودمج الجوانب النفسية والتعليمية والصحية ضمن منظومة رعاية شاملة ومستدامة.
كما أكدت التوصيات أهمية إشراك الأطفال في القرارات المتعلقة بحياتهم، وتطوير برامج التأهيل للاستقلال والانتقال الآمن للشباب بعد مغادرة دور الرعاية، وتعزيز التنسيق بين المؤسسات الحكومية ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني بما يضمن توفير بيئة آمنة وداعمة تكفل للأطفال النمو والتطور والاندماج المجتمعي.
وشهدت الفعالية نقاشاً مثمراً بين المشاركين حول سبل تطوير الخدمات المقدمة للأطفال الأيتام وتعزيز جودة الرعاية والحماية المقدمة لهم، بما ينسجم مع احتياجاتهم النفسية والاجتماعية والتنموية.
وفي ختام اللقاء، قامت رئيسة مجلس إدارة الجمعية الأستاذة مريم عوض، وعضو مجلس الإدارة الدكتور فؤاد بنورة، والمدير المالي والإداري السيد غالب غطاس، والمديرة المهنية السيدة ميرنا جرايسة، والأستاذة سائدة الأطرش مديرة مديرية التنمية الاجتماعية في محافظة بيت لحم، بتكريم الشركاء والمشاركين وتوزيع دروع وشهادات الشكر والتقدير تقديراً لجهودهم وإسهاماتهم القيمة في إنجاح المشروع وتحقيق أهدافه.
كما تتقدم جمعية مركز الإرشاد والتدريب للطفل والأسرة – بيت لحم بخالص الشكر والتقدير للممولين والشركاء الداعمين للمشروع: Kindermissionswerk "Die Sternsinger"، وBrot für die Welt، وMisereor، على دعمهم الكريم وإيمانهم بأهمية تعزيز الصحة النفسية وحماية الأطفال الأيتام في فلسطين. لقد أسهم هذا الدعم في تنفيذ أنشطة المشروع وتحقيق أهدافه، بما يعزز جودة الرعاية والخدمات المقدمة للأطفال ويوفر لهم فرصاً أفضل للنمو والتطور والاندماج في المجتمع.
كما نتوجه بخالص الشكر والتقدير إلى وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية، وبيوت الرعاية، وجميع الشركاء والداعمين والمشاركين الذين أسهموا في إنجاح هذا المشروع، مؤكدين استمرار العمل المشترك من أجل تعزيز حقوق الأطفال الأيتام وضمان حصولهم على الرعاية والدعم الذي يستحقونه.
لأن الاستثمار في الصحة النفسية للأطفال اليوم هو استثمار في مستقبل أكثر أمناً واستقراراً وعدالة للمجتمع بأكمله.

We are pleased at the Child and Family Guidance and Training Center Association – Bethlehem to share the success of the closing event of the project “Improving the Mental Health of Children Living in Orphan Care Homes in Bethlehem and the West Bank.” The project was implemented in partnership and cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development and orphan care homes across the West Bank, with broad participation from administrators of governmental and non-governmental institutions, specialists, and professionals working in the care sector.
The event commenced with opening remarks by Ms. Mariam Awad, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Child and Family Guidance and Training Center Association, followed by a speech from the Ministry of Social Development delivered by Ms. Lubna Issa. Participants also viewed the video “They Are Not Numbers: The Lives of Orphans in Palestine,” followed by remarks from representatives of care homes delivered by Ms. Shireen Al-Mafi, Executive Director of the Friends of the Islamic Orphanage Association – Al-Zahraa Home for Orphaned Girls in Al-Eizariya. The event also featured the presentation of the “Voice of Orphans” campaign in collaboration with Mish Therapy, as well as the research findings and a discussion of the study’s key recommendations.
The study focused on evaluating the tools and methods used to assess the needs of orphaned children in the West Bank from the perspectives of administrators, social workers, and psychologists working in residential care institutions. The findings highlighted the importance of strengthening psychosocial support and emotional regulation programs for children, developing standardized and validated assessment tools, supporting care professionals through ongoing psychological and professional supervision, and integrating psychological, educational, and health dimensions into a comprehensive and sustainable care system.
The recommendations further emphasized the importance of involving children in decisions affecting their lives, developing programs that support independent living and safe transitions for young people leaving care homes, and strengthening coordination between governmental institutions and civil society organizations to ensure a safe and supportive environment that promotes children's growth, development, and social inclusion.
The event witnessed a fruitful discussion among participants on ways to improve services provided to orphaned children and enhance the quality of care and protection offered to them in line with their psychological, social, and developmental needs.
At the conclusion of the event, Ms. Mariam Awad, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Dr. Fouad Bannoura, Board Member, Mr. Ghaleb Ghattas, Financial and Administrative Director, Ms. Mirna Jraiseh, Professional Director, and Ms. Saida Al-Atrash, Director of the Ministry of Social Development Directorate in Bethlehem Governorate, honored partners and participants by presenting appreciation plaques and certificates in recognition of their valuable contributions and efforts toward the success of the project and the achievement of its objectives.
