نشاط توعوي حول سرطان الثدي بمناسبة أكتوبر الوردي
بمناسبة أكتوبر الوردي، شهر التوعية بسرطان الثدي، نظمت وحدة الصحة والبيئة في مركز لاجئ نشاطًا توعويًا بمشاركة مجموعة من النساء، بهدف تعزيز الوعي بأهمية الكشف المبكر.
تضمن النشاط محاضرة توعوية قدمها العاملون الصحيون في الوحدة، تناولت مجموعة من المعلومات والإرشادات المتعلقة بسرطان الثدي، وأهمية إجراء الفحوصات والكشف المبكر وكيفية القيام بهذه الإجراءات.
كما قدمت سهى عبيدو، طالبة ماجستير في جامعة بيت لحم، نشاطًا تفاعليًا تضمن اختبارًا إلكترونيًا ساعد المشاركات على مراجعة المعلومات التي طُرحت خلال اللقاء وتثبيتها بطريقة تفاعلية.
واختُتم النشاط بتوزيع هدايا على النساء المشاركات، بهدف تشجيعهن على إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة والتأكيد على أن الكشف المبكر يصنع فرقًا.

Breast Cancer Awareness Activity for Pink October
As part of Pink October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lajee Center’s Health and Environment Unit organized an awareness activity for a group of women, focusing on the importance of early detection.
The activity included an awareness session led by the unit’s health workers, covering key information and guidance about breast cancer, the importance of regular screening and early detection, and how these procedures can be carried out.
Suha Obeido, a master’s student at Bethlehem University, also led an interactive activity that included an online quiz, helping participants review and reinforce the information discussed during the session in an engaging way.
The activity concluded with gifts distributed to the participating women to encourage them to undergo the necessary screenings and reinforce the message that early detection makes a difference.
