BADIL Resource Center for Residency and Refugee Rights has released a new Position Paper titled “The Israeli Regime’s Evacuation Orders in Gaza and Lebanon: A Cover for Forced Displacement and Population Transfer.” The paper examines how the Israeli regime’s so-called “evacuation orders” in Gaza and Lebanon not only violate the legal requirements governing lawful evacuations, but are used as mechanisms of forced displacement, territorial control, and population transfer, while states enable these policies through their inaction and complicity.

Across Palestine and throughout the global Palestinian community, a new generation is navigating questions of identity, justice, representation, liberation and the future.
We are launching one of the largest youth opinion polls exploring:

- What does the Palestinian National Project mean today?
- How should it be achieved?
- What role should political, social, and community actors play?

If you are 18–35 years old, wherever you are in the world your perspective matters.

This survey is more than a questionnaire. It is an effort to build a liberation strategy of Palestinian youth voices, experiences, priorities, and political visions for the future.
At a time when Palestinian futures are being debated, Palestinian youth must be at the centre of the conversation.

Through mass demonstrations, direct action, student uprisings, labor resistance, and legal challenges, the Palestine solidarity movement has altered a political consciousness among people, by exposing the crimes of the Israeli regime and European colonial states’ political, economic and military complicity. While the international solidarity movement has achieved important gains, it did not yet produce a broader rupture in European states´ political, economic, and military relations with the Israeli regime. What the paper shows is that specific states’ complicity increased rather than decreased over time, highlighting the urgency for escalated and targeted action.

The call made by 90 congress members to dismantle is a direct result of the failure of the UN and its member states to take concrete measures to halt Israeli laws, measures and restrictions targeting UNRWA. Further, this letter aligns with the US and Israeli policy of replacing the UN and international law with their own colonial bodies and rules. Congress must reinstate US funding for UNRWA and pass the UNRWA Emergency Funding Restoration Act of 2025.
