Rather than looking to the landscape out of fear or seeking refuge in worldly idols, the psalmist poses a vital question: "From whence comes my help?" The swift response—"My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth"—pivots the traveler's gaze away from earthly threats and directly onto the ultimate source of security. By anchoring their trust in the Creator rather than the creation, the believer finds peace in the reality that the all-powerful God who spoke the universe into existence is personally watching over their journey.
