Zionist settlers invaded a home in Khirbet al Markaz, Masafer Yatta, assaulting Widad Makhamra and her young child in the process. This is another in a long series of attacks on the residents of Masafer Yatta in an attempt to forcibly displace the larger community.

The residents of Masafer Yatta are demanding protection, as well as an end to these attacks.

We directly support four large families right now. Rent. Food. Basics. Emergencies that don’t wait. A new baby on the way for one family. Weddings coming for others. Moments that deserve joy but also mean more need.

The UN’s 2026 theme for the International Day of Families is: “Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing”. These children deserve a future. Right now, they need to get through today first.

It is four years today since the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh in cold blood by Israeli occupation forces in Jenin. In these four years, Israeli forces have murdered at least 262 journalists in Gaza alone, and 50 more are held captive in zionist prisons.

Shireen’s likeness is preserved throughout Palestine (seen here at a tribute site in Bethlehem and through a restaurant window facing the apartheid wall) as a symbol of bravery, truth, and journalism in the face of lies, obfuscation, and erasure backed by violent power. Shireen lives on through the courage she still inspires.

The genocide in Gaza is ongoing, with zionist violence continuing despite the so-called ceasefire which began in October. This boy is crying over the murder of his father this morning by Israeli airstrike on his vehicle in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

On May 4, the number of martyrs killed in Gaza since the start of the ceasefire was recorded at 832, with 2,354 people wounded during the same period.

Zionist settlers set fire to a bulldozer and a private vehicle belonging to Palestinian residents in the Wadi al-Rakhim area, located near Yatta in the southern occupied West Bank. Settler militias are also blocking roads linking villages in this area.
