This , we’re celebrating Nurana Rzayeva!
From Floater Teacher to Infant & Toddler Teacher, Nurana’s journey is a beautiful example of growth, mentorship, and dedication; supported along the way with professional development (including a CDA funded by the program).
Through thoughtful collaboration with families, she creates tailored nutrition plans that transform stressful mealtimes into moments of growth. Many families see improved behavior in their child and a growing willingness to try new foods in just one week. We’re deeply grateful for the impact Nurana brings to families every day.

Last week in Puerto Rico, our team gathered for a despedida that blossomed into its own garden of gratitude—testimonies of impact offered to Dr. Lorena Garza Gonzalez, our Reina de las flores, through moments that reminded us why proximity matters. Even minimal moments of closeness carry weight when they come from someone who leads with such intention.

Throughout her time with Team US, Dr. Lorena has planted seeds across the island—encouraging staff, nurturing confidence, and modeling what servant leadership looks like in practice. She has shown us that leadership rooted in compassion creates resilience, and that joy is not a distraction from the work, but a source of strength within it.

The celebration was filled with music, abrazos, and reflections that spoke to the depth of her influence. And in her own words:
“Thank you team, mil gracias compañeros, for a two-day celebration filled with love, music, dance, heartfelt words, and of course, incredible food. You made me feel deeply loved and cared for. I receive it fully and return it to each and every one of you! Bendito.Los quiero… viven en mi corazón y no pagan renta.”

As her despedida y bendiciones journey continues, we carry forward the lessons she’s sown—serving with humility, leading with corazón, and blooming with resilience wherever we stand.

This weekend, we recognized Children’s Craft Day, a great reminder that our culture is rich with color, tradition, and creativity, and it all begins with children!

The young creators in our community show us every day that imagination has no limits. When we nurture creativity, we nurture future leaders. 💛
