Mujer Montuna was born in 2008 as my spiritual reconciliation with the mountains of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. It has transformed into a Social-Agricultural-Healing Justice project that Jackie works on a daily basis with and for the community, around herbalism, permaculture, health and popular education practices. There are so many collaborators to this project among them my greatest friend Miguel,

my sister Jellyka and my father Manuel

I am blessed to continue this path with my family and dogs in Puerto Rico, and the extended family wherever life takes me around the world. La cabaña is also a place where people gather, conspire ideas and dreams, take classes and meet. The cabin was made with mucho love by Papi and me, among the hands of my neighbors, and with much amor I ask people to enter trough its doors.
