Here is Isabela, beautiful Siamese lynx feline. She clearly was someone's house cat. She was found thrown into stray cat community. Her rescuer thought that she is in last days of pregnancy. However, Isabela didn't give birth for 2 days and her condition worsened. Turned out she had pyometra, life threatening inflammation of uterus that required surgery. Isabela is doing fine now but the vet bill was $640. We can't help without your support. Please assist us with covering this expense. Sometimes people may feel uncomfortable donating small amounts but every dollar counts! Please also share if can. Thank you in advance for any help

This is really crazy story. Please watch the video to the end. On 9/2 afternoon we went to SJ airport to send Paloma with Flight Angel to MA. There was two of us. In SJ parking we saw white kitten sitting on car tire. Seemed that someone fed it. We tried to catch it, but had only kennel in the car. We bought some smelly food from the airport cafe but cat was gone. We left a note to someone feeding this cat to call us and we cleaned all the p**p, so airport staff is not complaining. This poor cat couldn't even burry its p**p. I went to the airport following day at 7 am but cat was not there and there were many people. So, my friend went another day in the evening. She didn't see the cat but met young gentleman name Bryant who was also coming to save this cat. Since he also had only kennel, we agreed, we take into our hands. We discussed it internally that girls need to go with the trap very early around 4 am before traffic gets heavy. And success, they trapped her with a smell of sardines.
That is when video was recorded. We called Bryant and he came immediately to take a cat as his family has 4 cats and had a room for the 5th. Now named Bianca lives in Cayey (picture below)
Is this a happy story? I am not sure. Why there is anyone who thinks that it was the best idea to drop evidently house raised kitten at the airport lot??? Bianca was lucky but most won't be.

Our little shy Paloma doing great in her new home in MA. She was found by out TNR friend alone in some dirty place that was visited by drug addicts. It was hard to catch her. Paloma is extremally playful cat, but it took us a while to get her trust humans.
She went to Boston on 9/2 with Flight Angel, Elena.
Pictures in chronological order. Thank you everyone involved in this story. Many animals have potential to be taken off the streets. Please help us with one by one

Today is a big day for Jackson. He is flying to his permanent home in Las Vegas. Little tuxedo boy with an injured leg was rescued, cared for and adopted by a couple from NV for whom SJ is temporary place. We had a pleasure to assist with guiding through medical protocol and pet-sit when needed. Jackson is sweet, playful, smart and full of energy.
Jackson won a lucky ticket in lottery of life.
If you are a tourist, temporary resident in SJ and are willing to adopt/help the cat you meet, please reach out.

Update! Thanks to two young girls visiting PR, Amelia joined Tilly in their new home in Somerville MA on 9/15 just one day Tilly went there. Thank you Alexa and Annmarie. We hope you had good experience and you will encourage other tourists to helps us! Without tourist taking animals on their flights, we often can't pursue our missions

Hi All, we had 2 cats adopted by one couple from Boston. Our organization member is flying on 9/14 JetBlue 6am flight to Boston but only can take one with her per Jet Blue rules. Is anyone flying on the same flight?
All it would take is to add a scond cat to your ticket and put it under seat.
We pay for the pet-in cabin fees, and your luggage allowance is not affected.
Please contact us at (646) 942-1244
If there is anyone who goes to Boston on the other day and would be kind to volunteer, please reach out as well.
Here are pictures of Tilly and Amelia who were lucky to find one home for both.

Alaska who dropped out of car engine in motion a while ago had her big day yesterday. She was spayed and will be soon available for adoption. Thank you so much to Sandra Pujals and Maria Laureano for sponsoring Alaska's surgery. It is quite unique that people here sponsor kittens they found and someone else took care of them. That is so important to shout thanks to Sandra and Maria.
Alaska doesn't look best on these pictures as no one would look after surgery:) but she is fine, beautiful white girl with blue eyes.

Another kitten dropped in Pinones to the stray dogs area in the bushes by the beach. I spoke to TNR ladies who spay dogs there and it apparently is a quite common thing.
To all the heartless people who do it. This is so f-up on so many levels. These kittens can't defend themselves against pack of dogs. Do not count on girls taking care of the dog community there to be able to save them. If you really have no heart and want to drop the kitten somewhere is better to leave him in cat community instead exposing him to being ripped apart by dogs. It is not best way either, why don't you just reach to cat rescue groups? Or maybe put $5 as donation? maybe agree to foster until we find home? Throwing kitten amongst wild dogs pack it is the worst idea one can imagine.

Last Saturday our two rescues Winter and Paris were taken by Flight Angels, Tristine and her family to Boston Logan. They were greeted with flowers by a couple, Christine and Carey, who adopted both. Check our adopters cute cat t-shirts for this special occasion!
These cats waited some time to find loving home. Flight Angels help to get our rescues to their destination. For all tourists and others who fly out of SJ please volunteer to take an animal out of here. You don't know what it means to all of our rescue organizations. We spend considerable time and money to send rescues to mainland; we can't drive them unfortunately. They often sit and wait for the next flight to freedom.
To everyone else - fight cruelty towards all animals, everywhere, always
Thank you
