The Roberto Clemente Foundation board members joined members of the Pittsburgh Pirates at their Day of Service to kickoff MLB ⚾ Roberto Clemente Day! Players and community volunteers packed fresh produce, milk and eggs and loaded them into the cars of military Veterans! We are proud to collaborate with the Pittsburgh Pirates and continue to carry the vision of service Roberto shared with us!

Saturday's Little Legends 21 Day of Play was one for the books.

Kids ages 5 to 10 spent the morning at West Field in Munhall running drills, making new friends, and playing without a bit of hesitation — free, no experience necessary, just show up and play.

Roberto Jr. and Luis Clemente were on the field all morning, joined by MLB player Carlos Baerga, Martín Maldonado, and Pirates third base coach Joey Cora, cheering kids on and showing them what it means to play with heart.

That's the whole point of Little Legends 21: every kid gets to feel like part of a team.

Follow Roberto Clemente Foundation for the next Day of Play.
